    Dooley excuse makers.....

Have been a Dooley supporter, but after today I've had to face reality: a team that is markedly worse in the head coaches 2nd season than in his 1st,isn't rebuilding,It's regressing...I understand the youth and injuries excuses, and they are valid...but injuries to UK didn't keep them from flat...

I challenge anybody to defend Derek Dooley.

It's hard to dislike Dooley, funny guy, seemingly quality human being...but my gosh its getting hard to defend him...when a BAD Kentucky team takes a guy that has never played college QB and beats you,it makes CDD's myriad of excuses that much harder to stomach...that being said, this program...

    Positives (legitimate)

I like Simms, but he is the classic "game manager" type qb. that needs a strong running game behind him...no running game+Simms tendency to hold onto the ball forever= recipe for disaster Posted via VolNation Mobile

Tenn -29 yards in SEC play

Still can't grasp why the same players who are so good at pass protection are so embarrassingly bad at run blocking....Bray has all day to throw,Simms has all day to throw(unfortunately it takes him a day and a half to make a decision) Posted via VolNation Mobile

Maybe I'm just more patient that I used to be

100% agree, with all the resources UT has at its disposal, they still couldn't find a "name" coach that would touch this rebuilding job with a 10ft.pole....give Dooley time to get the program back on its feet Posted via VolNation Mobile

    Let's look at the facts

This team only had 4 legit game changers on the roster(Bray,Hunter,D.Rogers,J.Jackson) now 3/4th are out...with Bray and Hunter I thought we had a punchers chance in any game this season....not so much with Simms and Z.Rogers Posted via VolNation Mobile

    Must read

Agree that it shouldn't come down to officiating, but the margin of error for this team is so slim, they can't have many bad calls go against them....UGA got away with pass interference all night, while UT got flagged Posted via VolNation Mobile

    With Simms starting....

Maybe we can break UGA's 4th and 57 record Posted via VolNation Mobile

    Running Game

I believe CDD has been quoted as saying,"It's better to have a great back and an average line, than a great line and an average back" unfortunately,he has average at both at this point....o-line looking good in pass protection, has alot to do with Bray making a decision, and quickly getting rid of...

Here is where we are people (Long)

I felt the coaches spent too much time trying to establish the run in the first half. It's pretty hard to get a running game going, with the opposing d-line in your backfield all day. This O-line is just overmatched against top shelf SEC talent at this stage of their development.I say stick with...

Would Tonight's Performance Beat Any SEC Teams?

Granted, the running game was a disappointment but I'll take UT's first game performance over that of UK,UGA,Auburn, or Ole Miss Posted via VolNation Mobile

    Tennessee was humiliated

This is the first year I've ordered ESPN gameplan...I hope this is no indication of production values for the rest of the season....reminded me of watching game film in high school, shot with an 80's camcorder Posted via VolNation Mobile
