With the combination of our already horrifying run game and Simms' sack-taking ability, is it possible we see a -100 yard rushing performance this season? Has that ever happened at UT before?

When we get the ball on 1st down....we should just punt it....this would be our best offense against Bama and LSU.........man I don't even care anymore.

I don't care what anyone says, Matt Simms came in and played hard. I'm not saying he's good or extremely talented, but for a guy who lost his starting job to a true freshman last year and has stayed positive to focus on being a team player.... I'm not really going to bash him for anything he did.

Put it this way. As bad as his pocket presence is, he still put the only TD on the board that we had for the entire game. Nice pass to Rivera to the one and he punched it in from there. More than Bray accomplished in 4 quarters because Bray got frustrated and started heaving throws with his head up that were flying 5-10 yards out of bounds.

Where was Mr. Cool last night? For all that is said about Bray being unflappable and calm/cool/collected... he was seen on TV yelling at the coaches to "speed up" the tempo. I respect his competitive nature, but I also think a leader should lead by example and keep the guys around him calm.

Kudos to Matt Simms for our only offensive TD last night.

at 6'3 260.. I get winded carrying groceries to the car and I could have scored the only offensive TD last night.
