The way to add a third deck would have to be in the endzones. The way you do it is to add 4 mini upper decks. On each end you add a small upper deck between the press box to the endzone. However instead of connecting them they should add another jumbotron. That way you'd have 2 mini upper decks...
Danny W was amazing. 4 SEC titles, National title and Heisman. And he earned every bit of it. Seriously, how many players can say that period.
IMO he was/is the prototype college QB. I love Peyton but as a college QB, there is no choice. DW wins hands down.
Folks it ain't always about the money. Kelly was my first choice but Cinci is doing the right thing in doing what it takes to keep Kelly for now. I'm in Cinci all the time and it's a cool city IMO. Sure there are some area's that I wouldn't want to be in at times but most cities have that unless...
Wrong on Garner. Some of you guys are giving way to much attention on recruiting and not enough on player development and discipline. Those 2 areas and all they encompass have been far more detrimental to Fulmer and UT than lack of recruiting. All schools that recruit nationally are gonna have...
Chavis is one of the reasons that Fulmer is out of a job...had Phillip stepped up years ago and demanded that Chavis figure out how to stop somebody on 3rd down...we'd probably be looking at a few more NC's and the most succesfull coach in CFB history.
Never has a D.Coordinator looked as...
An old worn out argument. Yeah they had some luck...name me one program that's gone undefeated and won an NC that didn't have luck. No teams with losses that went on to win an NC but an undefeated team.
Also funny that everyone forgets that UT won the NC that year with the best RB in the...
Shuler did make a mistake and go pro too early but his failure wasn't that he couldn't read defenses...it was that Heath was in the wrong offense. Had Heath been in a true West Coast style offense from day one, he would have thrived. His style was much more Montana and Young than Peyton. Blame...
Good article but what kills me is Tony and Chris and all these guys who've been around the SEC for years should know better than to write about recruiting and TN.
We all know TN has to recruit nationally...they've always done so with dipping into GA, FL, LA and other southern states to get...
Well to be blunt it's because Mike looks like a weasel. But he did learn under Dickey...and Doug was as cutthroat as they come. Mike knows that his next hire also means his butt is on the line as well. And Vol fans ain't gonna wait 3-4 years to let things develope...we want wins now. Hammy knows...
That's right. Nobody should feel sorry for Phil. He's been able to do what he's dreamed of for years...coach his alma mater. His been paid very well to do it. Phil will never have to work a day again in his life. He's gotten to live his dream...very few people in this world get to experience...
Glad this was brought up here and I agree...our team looks heavy on the O line and in generally out of shape. Didn't Cut fix some of this on the O-line...I think he stated that the first thing he had to do was get them in shape...could be wrong.
Excellent points...and I might further add in response to replacing parts and fixing whats broken...sometimes you gotta replace the whole thing as well.
That's where we are...the car can't be fixed, it's done. The motors gone, the transmission is gone...everything has already been fixed and...
100% correct on David...and I'm not that big a fan of Cut either. However he is a much better X's and O's guy that Phil. David without a doubt cost us some games with his get a lead and sit on it routine...but then again that's what this program has become...playing not to lose.
Far cry from...
Good post...and in theory well thought out. But problem one is that Fulmer is not the Bear nor is he Joe Pa. This also isn't the Big 10 or the SEC of 40 years ago.
Fulmer is very much a victim of his own success. Spurrier and Phil set the bar pretty darn high for the SEC, the conference...
