My goodness, I really love VN.com...

I love to come here on a Sunday and attempt to pick through the cry baby threads to find the occasional "diamond in the rough" analysis of Saturday's game. You know, the kind of conversation that is insightful. And maybe that's because I don't quite get the detailed analysis in Middle...

Drew Richmond and Eli Wolf enter transfer portal

I agree. He started to catch a few more balls which is a good sign but I couldn't believe how many balls he dropped through the first half of last year. I expected more. However, he seems to be a decent blocker.

Today's OC List According To "Some Media".....

This is probably the best explanation that I've heard. It seems logical and there is a benefit to holding out.

Today's OC List According To "Some Media".....

That one didn't slip past me, homey. I mentioned "good idea." I personally don't see that as a smart move but then again, coach Pruitt is a different kind of fella. On a side note, if that were the case, how long could this go on? After bowl season? Seems excessive.

Today's OC List According To "Some Media".....

The only reason I can think that this is a good idea is if we are about to make a "let down" hire. Maybe we can keep some of the early signees before we drop a no namer on them.

If we want a chance at Bama....

We certainly need to utilize the weapons that we have but that running game, whether fruitful or not, keeps the defense honest. It's part of the gameplan and part of the offense.

Why are we returning kicks from the endzone?

That is your answer, OP. It's no different than any other part of the game. You have a certain attitude, a physical expectation of your team, and you sprinkle in the fact that you need to create explosive plays somewhere. Pruitt seems to favor the risky call at times. I don't have a problem...

The Tape don’t Lie - 23-3 deficit explained

You may be right, but in his defense it’s not like he’s had a stable offensive coaching staff running the same system. It took even the great Peyton Manning until late in his 2nd year in the system to audible into better plays. Many quarterbacks never get to that level.

    Can Fanbase Just not understand

This is a great point. The reality is that any given Saturday, any team can be upset. The problem is that this is where we are as a program. We have to hope for some random circumstance that gives us a chance to win. It's not pretty. That was a beatable Florida team but we are not a good...

    Where's the fire?

Uhhh, Holmes... generally with a coaching staff change and the change in offensive and defensive systems/philosophies, there is a drop off.
