What do VN GOPers think of the Cheney issue?

And the absence of a moderate democrat in Georgia political leadership has given us the towering examples of leftist extremism, Stacey Abrams and Raphael Warnock and that other limp-wristed doofus.
The democrats seem more moderate than the republicans.

Hannity reminds Liz Cheney she's Aligning With Media who Called her Dad a 'war criminal'

'Hannity' host tells Cheney to 'enjoy the sanctimonious ranks of the never-Trumpers'

Fox News host Sean Hannity reacts to the media praise of Republican Liz Cheney after being ousted from her leadership position on "Hannity."

HANNITY: We briefly address the story that the media mob and Democrats are obsessing about. Wall-to-wall coverage, 48-hours and counting. Yes, Congresswoman Liz Cheney was booted from her GOP leadership position after months of nonstop negative remarks about Trump and those who support him. Now the media mob and Democrats are treating Congresswoman Cheney like she's some modern-day martyr. She is not. I see Liz today your hero, you actually gave me the first interview to MSDNC, NBC, the first exclusive. Wow, that's the same network I believe, if we go back, yeah, it was referring to your dad as a war criminal and should be tried, and a criminal with Halliburton and all sorts of other allegations. You may want to refresh your memory. Too bad as a Republican leader you never showed the same passion fighting the radical socialist Democrats that bribe the Iranian mullahs, abandon our ally Israel, with the same type of passion and psychotic rage you have against all things Donald Trump. Now, my message to you Liz is have fun. I'm sure you have to love all the praise and attention you're receiving, but remember, you're receiving it from the very same people, the Democrats and the media, that called your father a war criminal. The very people that helped put Scooter Libby, I think he's a friend of yours, in jail, and the same people that accused your dad of numerous crimes and felonies related to his work at Halliburton.

Hannity reminds Liz Cheney she's aligning with media who called her dad a 'war criminal'

I'm trying to not GAF about more and more as I get older. Hopefully soon I won't GAF if I forget to wear pants.

It gets so much easier to do every year, until you fire up the TIG welder and feel like you’ve forgotten to do something today .

NO it is not possible because they had 27 options in 2016, some decent respectable candidates like John Kasich and Liddle' Marco Rubio and they CHOSE the reality TV idiot.

Furthermore, they stood by him! Even when he sucked so badly at his job that he got impeached.....TWICE! hahahah soooo freakin dumb
And Dems didn't have choices other than Hillary in 2016 or Joe in 2020? Logic has failed you.

She lost her position for disagreeing with Trump. Period. Differences of opinion are not tolerated in the GOP.

Tulsi Gabbard would like to say hello.

Seriously, I respect when a politician stands up to their party. Doesn't mean I suddenly support Liz Cheney, but I respect that she went against the grain rather than taking the simpler road of falling in line. I'm all for fewer sheep.

It doesn't matter which side of the aisle you're on, if you go against the party, you get got. Shame how that works. They're not there to represent party. They're there to represent their constituents. I get it. Liz was removed from Republican leadership for daring to oppose Trump. She wasn't removed from office. But, IMO, this demonstrates just how the cancer of partisanship has infected Congress. It's sad that so many embrace this as okay. How does this thinking help the country? Agree with us or we'll squash you. Seems there's no longer room on either side for free thinkers.

Except she didn’t “oppose” Trump until after the election and she saw an opportunity to increase her political stature with the media. The chick they want to take her place has been more vocal against Trump than Cheney.

You have do look long and hard to find a leftist that doesn't toe the party line though. Case in point ^^^^^

Obama could tell them to lick bee hives and they would all do it.

Really, because most democrats don't believe that AOC's views are the right approach, but she's not beat down because of them.

The GOP has abandoned all principles and become the party of Trump. The Trump family stole the collection plate and controls the purse strings and the rank and file is so *******ned scared of losing their jobs that they've fallen in line.

Behar: Liz Cheney Is ‘Joan of Arc’ Standing up to the GOP ‘Heretics’

Joy Behar told her co-hosts on Wednesday’s broadcast of ABC’s “The View” that Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) being ousted from Republican House leadership made her like “Joan of Arc” standing up to the Republican heretics.

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg said, “Joy, about three-quarters of her Republican colleagues voted to boot her. What does this say to the country? What is it saying to you when you hear all this?”

Behar said, “Well, she’s the Joan of Arc standing up to the heretics at this point. She’s very lonely in that position. I do have faith that she’s a tough cookie. It’s refreshing to see someone stand up to the QAnon party who is not afraid to lose her job like the rest of those cowards who are shivering and quivering in the corner that they may have to go back to their old lives.”

Too bad Joan of Arc wasnt fighting heretics...

He did. He said the party no longer represented what it did in the JFK days.

Imagine that, a party progressing over a 40 year period. Problem was, Zell didn't. He earned the name zig-zag Zell for a reason.
Wouldnt zigging and zagging indicate that he was changing, aka progressing?

I am not familiar with the guy but your description seems off.

This x's 100. It's stunning to think about what happened to Georgia. Democrats even did a meme about it because they were so tickled to death. We know Abrams worked to undermine a system that got leftist loon Warnock elected.

As governor he supported abortion rights, as senator (which followed) he did not.
As governor he was a supporter of gay rights, as senator (which followed) he did not.
He took more conservative positions later in his career.....the opposite of progressing.

At least you now have the satisfaction of knowing you voted for the worst president in history. And it's only been 4 months. Congrats!
No, the worst President in history was voted out. And 100 years from now, history will still show that. Biden can only get to next to worst.

Carter was voted out over 40 years ago. Why bring him up? Also, I believe you are selling Biden short. He will be worse than Carter if he can survive 4 years which is highly questionable.
