Makes sense. I sat there last night wondering what the heck took so long to get a story like this put together.MJ loved the AI doc so he gave the filmmaker the green light, but only after Lebron won his 3rd title and the kids started calling him the GOAT
Michael Jordan agreed to 'The Last Dance' documentary, thanks to LeBron James, Allen Iverson, Adam Silver
Remember when they brought in several player that off season? This is one of the dumbest arguments that only casuals use. They added a ton of contributors.Remember when the '94 Bulls won 55 games without MJ?
MJ had all the help in the world
There were a ton of Andre Robersons back then and were just as bad as he is now. He would have been even worse then.In defense, Roberson would be all world everything in 90’s basketball.

"Several players from the three-peat teams were still on board, including B.J. Armstrong, Bill Cartwright and Horace Grant, while newcomers Toni Kukoc, Steve Kerr and Bill Wennington, as well as Luc Longley in a February trade for Stacey King, were added to the mix. "
The Lakers picked up Lebron and won two games mores. I guess Deng and Corey Brewer are good replacements for Lebron. If you think those guys are good replacements for MJ + Perdue, I'll accept this argument.
Wennington and Longley are just bodies and personally, I've always thought Kukoc was very overrated, and he was fkn terrible in 1994 (0.497 TS% and .271 from 3p). Kerr was pretty good that year.
Gotta make sure to educate the masses. We don't need a bunch of ignorant fans running around buying media hype.MJ loved the AI doc so he gave the filmmaker the green light, but only after Lebron won his 3rd title and the kids started calling him the GOAT

Let's mention the Bulls when Mike left after the last Three Peat and were the worst team in the NBA.Lets see if you mention the Cavs and Heat after LeBron left.

Let's mention that Wade and Bosh were both averaging over 20 after LeBron left and the Heat were on the way to the playoffs before they both got hurt.

BTW, big shout out to Bobby Knight who called MJ "the best basketball player I've ever seen" in 1984. Man, he got way out in front of that one.
My only memories of Jordan playing were with the Wizards. Unfortunately I was 5-10 years to late to appreciate Jordan in his prime Bulls run. Watching this documentary was awesome. Didn't know much outside of what you read and hear from the media. Getting to see people who actually were inside it was pretty cool. I really need to go back and watch some of the late 80s/90s nba more.
BTW, the data I'd kill to see is what Jordan shot from 10-16' and 16-22'. I'd guess he's the best mid range shooter ever, but IDK because the basketball-reference data only goes back to 2001
