Is a mustard bottle deadly? Who's life was in danger Karen?

I wish someone would hit you in the head with a golf ball from a thousand feet up. Then maybe you'll understand.

Just cause nothing happened doesn't mean something couldn't have happened.

Real smart you are

I feel it's too low. And find it comical.

They'll fine a school $250,000 for fans rushing the field AFTER a big win.

Putting hundreds of people's lives in danger and leaving a big mess on the field that has to be cleaned up should warrant a huge fine. At least more of a fine than when fans rush the field.

What a joke. We just got a slap on the wrist. Hilarious.

They sure showed us.

I'd bet more fans get hurt rushing the field (also putting the players and coaches in danger) than were hurt on Saturday night from water bottles.

Why was it OK for Ole Miss's basketball fans (per the SEC, no fine) to throw trash at our players and the refs? Couldn't have someone been hurt then?

He probably took a viagra at lunch and can't help it. Are his cheeks turning blue?
. Probaly I just tuned in for a little bit on my lunch break and he is trashing us. Georgia and Bama fans saying we should’ve been fined a million dollars lol and no fans in Neyland the rest of the season..

I'd take it and run. $250K was the low benchmark for me...they fined kentucky that much for rushing the field after they beat Florida. I'm sure most teams have accruals in the budget for big wins (maybe we don't since it's been awhile).

Alabama radio is TRASHING UT this afternoon, as you can only imagine. Also, what's more important than the fine, is there is a good chance they will have to stop alcohol sales. That won't stop folks from drinking from the "titty bra bar", but that's a huge loss in revenue.

To hell with that whole state. They resort to murder after losses and it's happened more than once. Mr. Tree Poisoner is a normal, everyday Bama fan.

Nowhere in the stadium is 1000 feet high. Not in the stands anyways. Nobody's life was in jeopardy.
Real soy boy you are.

A thousand feet?? Joe Milton can’t throw a mustard bottle that far!

I have sat in our section at Florida and it looked like it was raining cups and bottles down on us. I once took a cab to my car which was waiting outside the gate at Baton Rouge. We could see our car from the stadium. However, after the game, liquor bottles were being thrown at us. A friend of mine was hit in the eye with a Jack Daniels bottle leaving Bryant Denny . This is not a Tennessee thing. This is a drunk thing. Stop selling beer to a bunch of students without a limit. I don't remember the SEC fining anyone at the other schools.

We should pay the fine in pennies. Have a few dump trucks filled with pennies roll up to SEC headquarters and dump them on the steps. And throw mustard bottles at anyone who comes out to see what all the commotion is.

Less expensive? It would have happened during a live game. And I'm sure we would have went after the refs.

Kentucky got fined $250,000 for fans rushing the field when they beat Florida.

It wouldn't be less. More about the same if not more if we did it during a live televised game.
Thought rushing field was more in the $100,000 range. Really peanuts in the grand scheme of how much the athletic program makes weekly.
meanwhile, I just paid $3.09 a gallon for gas.🙄🤷🏼‍♂️🤬
