Not nearly as embarrassing as many moons ago after many adult beverages my brother and some friends of ours fixed venison burgers with all kinds of trimmings like mushrooms, fried jalapenos, grilled onions, thousand island dressing, shredded lettuce, pickles, cheese, fresh tomatoes, bacon, grilled buns, etc... I was raving about how good them burgers were and how it was one of the best I ever made and everyone was snickering. About halfway through that "best burger ever" I took the bun off only to realize those arseclowns had taken off the dang meat. For the next several years it was "how's the burger today bun boy"? Much singin and chanting the batman theme song duh duh duh, duh duh duh… Bunboy!I had a bunless burger at work, because I left the bread on the counter![]()

Hungry yet?!Food is fine. But I really admire that sheet pan.Ok. No before pic. But here’s a taking a break pic before I get sic. Already put the chicken up. But here’s a pic of FOTBBB ribs. Sorry for the no pics routine. I need to start posting pics cause this was a good weekend for pics. It’s just been a weekend long food love affair.
Saturday- Hot Smoked Salmon (molasses and soy sauce baste) with maple smoke. Served over whole wheat pasta to seed with basil, spinach, capers, red onion, garlic, olive oil.
Sunday- Smoked whole chicken. Smoked andouille sausage, corn on cob, potato salad, okra, leftover smoked salmon, and when they’re done...my sons almost world famous smoked ribs for dessert.
