Let me offer this:
1) beating balls on the range accomplishes nothing if theres a problem. You have to know what the problem is before it can be fixed. Range time should be used for improving the game & not for making it worse. So many people leave the range more frustrated than when they got there
2) get with somebody that can help you. It doesnt have to be paid lessons, could be a friend thats a good player. Some people are more comfortable working with someone they know. Be willing to listen & make changes. With change it takes time. Ones game usually goes backwards with change before going forward. Everyone has their on unique swing, which is fine but there are certain mechanics in the swing that has to be followed if you want to get better.
3) video is one of the best teaching tools, use it. Review your practice secessions. Compare your swing to someone good & see how it matches up. Dont get caught up trying to swing like such & such on tour. Learn from them.
