You may well be right, but at the end of the day, we have another 6-5 or 6-6 post (Williams) who may be 6-4 the way Barnes measures them and a 6-7 skinny kid who is more suited to the perimeter (Fulkerson), when this team needed size more than anything. Now, Barnes may get size in the Spring, but he has a jammed up roster as the result of committing two scholarships in the Fall to kids who didn't address the fundamental size deficiency.
The poster Kasongor claims to be Kasongo's older brother (although his UT bio makes no mention of that). KasongBro says that Barnes lied to the family and they have more offers than Taylor Swift has marriage proposals to take his skills elsewhere on his road to the NBA.
If Kasongo was producing effort and being productive on the practice court he would be playing more in the games. There is a reason why Kasongo did not start in Jr. College and only played 16 mins a game there. There is a reason why he is not playing now. If he does not change, he will never smell the NBA. I hope he sees that and changes his attitude and works hard so he can have a future in basketball.
The way things appear to be trending with the Hubbs news and now this you'd have to think the odds are increasing. Kasongo and Hubbs leaving leaves 3 open spots, 2 for bigs and 1 for Bowden, talk about a complete roster overhaul.

More and more schools are looking at him. At some point, he's gonna get an offer that makes everyone a believer in this kid. He's legit.
I'm hoping UT offers tonight.
I would like to see a big offer, Kansas and UCONN have been in to see him and haven't offered, South Carolina has viewed him multiple times and also hasn't pulled the trigger. I like his game and typically a local kid will bust his a$$, he's also physically ready as well IMO, would be a solid addition on the wing.
Marquette and Utah are nothing to sneeze at
A few months ago some were arguing Xavier and Villanova were both mid majors.
I think it's high time we completely drop that label in college hoops
Very irrelevant for sure
