So you seriously think he mailed in the entire last season?

Who gets the blame next year when amazingly CJPs juniors are still lost and the record is an amazing 5 or 6 wins? Still Jones?

This team and the embarassing losses arent on anyone but the current coaching staff.

You re reaching for a point that was never made. I havent mentioned Pruitt nor his failures to date.

His issues dont make the band guy any less of a con man or failure.

How would firing Pruitt and paying him 10 million save us money? His buyout is much higher than Butch's was.

If they were to bring Butch back, I would be done with Tennessee Football. I have been a fan since the early 60's but I would move on and never look back.

I’m just saying if we are going to fire Pruitt anyway, we might as well bring Butch back. This way we won’t have to pay a new coach, Pruitt, and Butch.

While I think Butch is a better head coach at this point and time. Hell no, don't bring him back.

I would just love for Dooley and Butch to get a chance at redemption among our fan base. They have both had success everywhere they’ve been after UT, so perhaps it wasn’t their fault to begin with. Dooley turned Dez Bryant into one of the top receivers in the NFL and now he’s directing the high powered Mizzou offense. Butch hasn’t had as much time to leave his mark yet, but he was quickly snatched up by Saban and helped lead the Alabama team to an SEC Championship and a Playoff win last year. Plus he’s had a big effect on Bama’s recruiting.
