Even More Obamacare Follies

Really points out just how gullible and stupid the majority of Americans are. Just walk through Walmart and look at the majority of people in the store... They're your typical American....not cast members from Creepshow

Agreed. The short video shows just how stupid the majority of Americans are.

The limit on out-of-pocket costs, including deductibles and co-payments, was not supposed to exceed $6,350 for an individual and $12,700 for a family. But under a little-noticed ruling, federal officials have granted a one-year grace period to some insurers, allowing them to set higher limits, or no limit at all on some costs, in 2014.
A senior administration official, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations, said: “We knew this was an important issue. We had to balance the interests of consumers with the concerns of health plan sponsors and carriers, which told us that their computer systems were not set up to aggregate all of a person’s out-of-pocket costs. They asked for more time to comply.”
consumers paying more is how they balance this?

make big promises, get support because of them and then roll those changes back while still claiming victory. Wonderful plan

Sebelius:

“This is no longer a political debate; this is what we call the law,” Sebelius told a group that includes Democrats and Republicans, elected officials, political appointees and bureaucrats. “It was passed and signed three years ago. It was upheld by the Supreme Court a year ago. The president was re-elected. This is the law of the land.”

except we will make changes to the law as we see fit.

I feel like Sebelius needs one of those fast-talking disclaimers that we hear at the end of commercials after she makes her above statement.

"Law of the land not applicable to those businesses, organizations, and groups granted special waivers from the administration. Congressional representatives, staff, and family members exempted from said law. Administration reserves the right to unilaterally delay, or postpone indefinitely enactment of law as administration deems necessary for logistical and/or political reasons. Claims of lowered premiums, retaining current insurance plans, keeping current physician are used for illustrative purposes only and no promise is made or guaranteed to the populous."

"We've got to pass this bill to see what's in the bill". Well, they found out what's in there ain't worth a crap for anybody. The politicians & lawmakers don't even want it for their coverage. And the unions now.....oh lordy lou....shjt has hit the fan because the unions that pushed for it says now that this law sucks for everybody & we don't like it either.

Obamacare is coming, and so are the con artists

As the debate rages over who benefits from the Affordable Care Act, one thing is becoming clear: The controversial program is a dream come true for rip-off artists.

"There are fake exchanges already up and running on the Internet," said Monica Lindeen, Montana's Commissioner of Securities and Insurance. "If you do a search and type in 'exchange,' you'll find all sorts of websites that claim to be in the exchange when they are not."

In our county they no longer let substitute teachers put in more than 3.5 days a week, to prevent from paying them health insurance.

George Will compares Obama to Nixon

George Will: Obama Ignores Law, Like Nixon

In a 1977 interview with Richard Nixon, David Frost asked: "So, what in a sense you're saying is that there are certain situations . . . where the president can decide that it's in the best interests of the nation . . . and do something illegal?"

Nixon: "Well, when the president does it, that means that it is not illegal."

Frost: "By definition."

Nixon: "Exactly, exactly."

Nixon's claim, although constitutionally grotesque, was less so than the claim implicit in Obama's actions regarding the ACA. Nixon's claim was confined to matters of national security or (he said to Frost) "a threat to internal peace and order of significant magnitude." Obama's audacity is more spacious; it encompasses a right to disregard any portion of any law pertaining to any subject at any time when the political "environment" is difficult.

there's no one to hold them accountable and does anyone know the penalties if they did? Seriously, how are they charged and prosecuted?

They haven't even been charged in the court of "public opinion" either the overwhelming majority of the media has turned a blind eye.
