DEI = Racism

Probably does not hurt BlackRock, but I applaud it. From the article:

Texas State Board of Education Chair Aaron Kinsey said on Tuesday the Texas Permanent School Fund (PSF) was terminating a contract with BlackRock, covering around 15% of its assets, to comply with a 2021 state law that curbed agencies' business with financial firms accused of boycotting energy companies.

It was the latest broadside in a tussle between Republican state and federal officials and Wall Street firms over using environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in investing.

Harvard gon’ Harvard…

The allegations against Cross include 11 instances in her dissertation and five instances in a 2018 paper in the journal Population Studies in which she is accused of lifting language from other scholars. These instances include descriptions of datasets and methodology, as well as cases in which Cross uses identical language to scholars whom she cites but does not quote.

Lol… “grievance disciplines”

initial reports suggest that the grievance disciplines are rife with fraud

Why doesn't a law degree in itself make a person qualified to be a practicing attorney?
A better question is why is one required to pass the bar? Same with most any professional license. Frank Lloyd Wright didn't have an architecture degree. Mies Van der Roe didn't either. Either you can do the work or you can't. Take the licensure examinations and if you pass, you get the gig.

It’s just a dog whistle lol, acting like other people “made them do that” is weird
Not sure what you mean, but the fact is that corporate America is run by cowards for the most part. Chick Fil A and a few others being the exception. They will ALL knuckle under to the loudmouth minority in some form.

Why is a law degree required? California(!), Vermont, Virginia and Washington allow people to sit for the bar exam by "reading the law." Thirteen Supreme Court Justices "read the law" with the last one ascending to that level in 1941. Thirteen Presidents did this as well. The list of Presidents include Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, John Q Adams, Abraham Lincoln and our own beloved Grover Cleveland. Calvin Coolidge was the last.

Tennessee needs to change that, but good luck with the lawyers running the state legislature.

The sooner you realize anytime a minority is hired over a white person, its because of DEI and they aren't in any way, shape or form qualified to do that job…the better off we will all be.

Next topic.

“If you see a white man doing a job, he’s probably qualified. If you see anything other than a white man, be very afraid”

Not racist though

Anyone who thinks Obama wasn't far and away more qualified than Trump is insane. Temperament, smarts, speaking ability, moral compass. Not even close.

100% agree. Girl I graduated HS with became a lawyer in VA without attending law school, that's how I knew it could be done in some states.
