You really are stupid if you can't understand that 100 extra yards and leading your team down the field for the game-winning drive trumps no interceptions and throwing off-target passes multiple times that cost your team the game.
You may be champion of your nerds-r-us fantasy league but you don't have much understanding of the actual game of football.
Manning never suffered for offensive weapons. Would say the OL had to be built through coupons. I think Peyton’s biggest hindrance is what many admire. Him running the whole offense on the field...on the line. Executing whilst trying to outguess NFL defensive gurus had to be taxing. Maybe that’s why an UT squad minus him and a couple of other generational stars in Little and Fair could win the NC with Tee simply taking calls in from Cut.
How was it a cheat? A horrible call yes, but cheat? Officiating in the NFL is really bad. Luckily it seems to be getting alot of attention now.Somewhat relatedly, the roughing the passer penalty on Brady was probably the most blatant cheat I have ever seen in professional sports. Kind of ruined my faith in the NFL product being legit.
You really will say anything. Who has had the faster wideouts, Peyton or Brady? It's not even close. Stop lying. Brady's receivers run for fewer yards after the catch most of the time because they're not burners, Edelman being a great example. You sure can. Guarantee you Manning has more 'yards in the air' per completion than Brady. Example, Brady throws a 3 yards pass, the wr runs for 10. That shows up in the stats as 13 yard per completion. Manning throws a 10 yard pass and the guy dives forward for 3 more. Still 13 yards per completion. I bet over Brady's career he averages about 5 yards in the air (before yards after catch). Yards per completion and Yards per attempt figures are not apples to apples. That is way they started measuring yards after the catch, yards in the air, etc. to understand which qbs are benefiting the most from YAC. I would be very surprised if Brady in not #1 in 'yards after catch' per completion/attempt.
You yourself and you happened to be misrepresenting the truth regarding the way a game that involved my favorite team was officiated. I'm sure you never take offense when someone spreads lies about your team.Who the heck are you and why the heck are you so mad?
I said "The most blatant cheat THAT I HAVE SEEN". As in ME MYSELF and I. Don't come at me spitting vitriol from nowhere. Also, your simple as vanilla thought dichotomies reveal your lack of depth. Have a nice life.
You're wasting your breath in this thread unfortunately. Some of these people would argue that day is night and night is day. It has nothing to do with the actual accomplishments of Brady; they just don't like him, so they'll stack lie on top of lie, no matter how ridiculous, to detract from his greatness. It takes a really pathetic human being to be so devoted to a lie that he'll utter a thousand other lies to prop it up.I've rooted against the Patriots for years, but I'm honestly cheering for Tom Brady to get #6. There comes a certain point at which you just have to sit back and admire greatness of this level when it comes around. It doesn't happen often.
I did the same thing with Jordan. Hated him for most of his career, but by the time '97 and '98 rolled around I was so awe struck that I had become a fan, and actually cheered for the Bulls in those 2 NBA Finals series against the Jazz. Love em, hate em, or despise em, the NFL is going to miss Brady and Belichick when they're gone.
You really need to brush up on the basic structure of a football game. If Mahomes had indeed done as you say above, and matched Brady score for score in the first half, rather than just doing so in the second, the Chiefs would have won the game. CBS even showed in replay a pass that Mahomes badly missed in the first half, on a play where Williams was wide open down the sideline inside the ten-yard-line. Nantz and Romo commented on how Mahomes had just cost his team a touchdown.Pot...meet kettle. Hell, Mahomes and the Chiefs matched every score (including a game-tying FG with little time on the clock) except the last one when they didn’t get the ball. You really are stupid to claim that Mahomes cost his team the game.
So, you can stop with your feeble argument that Brady was better than Mahomes in that game. He simply wasn’t.
In fact, Mahomes also was better than Brady for the entire season.
Belichick had a losing record prior to Brady. He got fired by no less than the Cleveland Browns.
No way I am taking that Dionk the one main thing that a QB has to have is the ability to win the big game. I would take Brady, Montana and Manning. Some how the whole GOAT thing got tied to Superbowl wins. I get it I guess but this ain't golf or tennis, you can't just go on Majors wins...its a team game. If we're on the school yard and we're picking teams and every big time NFL QB is there in their prime, I'm taking Dan Marino first. Never won a SB, only played in one, but if you just want the best QB talent on your team you take Dan.
Every year except the first offseason after he was hired. Ernie Acorsi ran the draft in ‘91. He left after the ‘91 regular season and Belichick was given full control. If I recall correctly that was the plan from the time belichick was hired. Acorsi would concentrate on scouting and the draft so belichick would have time to hire a coaching staff and personnel people. Remember belichick got a late start because he wasn’t hired until February because he was still coaching with the Giants.I stand corrected. The whole time?
Stupid debate to begin with, you have Manning vs Brady bunch. No one is changing their minds, no matter which side you are on. I personally don’t like Brady, don’t care about his accomplishments, has nothing to do with the debate if he is the GOAT. No one is moving on either side.
I believe Brady does Gillette commercials..enough said.
