While a large portion of the population might look to children to provide their "facts", this kid, while doing a good job, proves nothing.

Pot...meet kettle. Hell, Mahomes and the Chiefs matched every score (including a game-tying FG with little time on the clock) except the last one when they didn’t get the ball. You really are stupid to claim that Mahomes cost his team the game.

So, you can stop with your feeble argument that Brady was better than Mahomes in that game. He simply wasn’t.

In fact, Mahomes also was better than Brady for the entire season.

Uh, do Garçon and Collie ring a bell? They both lost good skill position players because of the salary cap. In other words, they made a lot of guys a lot of money by inflating their stats.

Brady, though, never suffered for a mediocre coach. Manning, on the other hand took two of those, and arguably a third, to the Super Bowl.

IMO, Manning’s greatest accomplishment was to take four different coaches and two franchises to the Super Bowl.

How was it a cheat? A horrible call yes, but cheat? Officiating in the NFL is really bad. Luckily it seems to be getting alot of attention now.

You really will say anything. Who has had the faster wideouts, Peyton or Brady? It's not even close. Stop lying. Brady's receivers run for fewer yards after the catch most of the time because they're not burners, Edelman being a great example.

You yourself and you happened to be misrepresenting the truth regarding the way a game that involved my favorite team was officiated. I'm sure you never take offense when someone spreads lies about your team.

As I already stated, the only way a person sees that call as corrupt is if he willfully closes his eyes to multiple other calls in that same game that were far more corrupt and which went against the Patriots.

If having a strong distaste for distortion of the truth is what you call, "lack of depth," call me shallow.

You're wasting your breath in this thread unfortunately. Some of these people would argue that day is night and night is day. It has nothing to do with the actual accomplishments of Brady; they just don't like him, so they'll stack lie on top of lie, no matter how ridiculous, to detract from his greatness. It takes a really pathetic human being to be so devoted to a lie that he'll utter a thousand other lies to prop it up.

You really need to brush up on the basic structure of a football game. If Mahomes had indeed done as you say above, and matched Brady score for score in the first half, rather than just doing so in the second, the Chiefs would have won the game. CBS even showed in replay a pass that Mahomes badly missed in the first half, on a play where Williams was wide open down the sideline inside the ten-yard-line. Nantz and Romo commented on how Mahomes had just cost his team a touchdown.

I suppose you had your fingers in your ears on that play so you wouldn't hear anything bad about your QB who's so perfect.

If you had even the slightest bit of grasp of the game of football, you would understand that 348 yards is indeed better than 249, when that 348 wins the game. Mahomes had two three-and-outs in the game; guess how many Brady had? Mahomes had a 52% completion percentage; Brady's was 65%.

You can rage and foam at the mouth all you want, but just because Mahomes threw more TDs in the regular season, does not mean he outplayed Brady last Sunday. He didn't, and the numbers and the final score both bear that out. If you had any knowledge of football beyond what you get from watching First Take you would know that.

Here's another little nugget: Mahomes was playing with possibly the fastest wideout in the league, and the top tight end. Brady was playing with a tight end that was the best in the league two years ago, and is maybe the fifteen-best now, if that, along with a 32-year-old 5'9" white guy who was on IR all of last year with an ACL tear. If Brady had Hill and Kelce at the same time he would never lose a game. If he ever had, even for half a season like Mahomes did, three players the like of Hill, Hunt, and Kelce, the NFL would cancel the season and the 31 other owners would all sue the Patriots for infliction of emotional distress because they'd beat every team by 60.

Greatest = best career? Brady, and it's not even close.

Greatest = who am I picking first to start a team? Probably Elway, and definitely Peyton before Tom.

It ignores his incredible success as a DC.

How much control did he have over personnel?...surely nowhere near what he's had with the Pats.

Also, it presupposes that you don't learn to be a great head coach. You just are one right away?

No way I am taking that Dionk the one main thing that a QB has to have is the ability to win the big game. I would take Brady, Montana and Manning.

Every year except the first offseason after he was hired. Ernie Acorsi ran the draft in ‘91. He left after the ‘91 regular season and Belichick was given full control. If I recall correctly that was the plan from the time belichick was hired. Acorsi would concentrate on scouting and the draft so belichick would have time to hire a coaching staff and personnel people. Remember belichick got a late start because he wasn’t hired until February because he was still coaching with the Giants.

Stupid debate to begin with, you have Manning vs Brady bunch. No one is changing their minds, no matter which side you are on. I personally don’t like Brady, don’t care about his accomplishments, has nothing to do with the debate if he is the GOAT. No one is moving on either side.
