What did you have for dinner II?

I have a sheet pan like GFV's, and I have a non-stick sheet pan (why?). I like the seasoned one best and hardly ever use the nonstick one.

I've got I think a 9" square deep sheet pan that looks the same. And a really pretty larger non-stick cookie pan that barely has any use.

Ok. No before pic. But here’s a taking a break pic before I get sic. Already put the chicken up. But here’s a pic of FOTBBB ribs. (Fall OfView attachment 262980 The Bone Baby Back). The kid let them go about 6 hours in the watt burner this time. Notice the super clean bones to the side. That’s from trying to slice the rack and the bone wild just push out. Hungry yet?!
I feel infinitely better about my sheet pan now. 1582556928608.gif

I used to scrub cookware when I was mad about something, but now that I’m retired, I’m rarely mad, so there’s less shiny in my kitchen. But a lot more happy!

And, I have a coveted iron skillet that is jet black, gets an oil rub while it's still warm, and never sees water if at all possible. IF anything sticks, it gets a kosher salt scrub first, before using water. But, when my wife isn't looking-no soap !!

My mom and aunt use to laugh about when they were little, their grandmother (Nanny) lived behind them (actually the same house, just divided - sorta like a duplex, but not). Anyway, they would go to her house and eat, and one day they decided to do the dishes for her. So they got steel wool and scraped and scrubbed her biscuit pan (sheet pan) to get it "clean". Nanny had to throw it away. lol

I get my pan cleaning ideas from watching Triple D (the cooking channel show, not the movie). One guy had a well seasoned aluminum skillet that hasn't been washed or had a drop of water on it in 30+ years. It only got used for veggies. I don't even like soaping up non-stick pans. That eventually ruins the surface. Hot water and a rag is all that's necessary. And if needed a soak in water overnight first. My wife don't get that.

anybody got a good air fryer batter for fish ? I tried some mustard fried crappie last night and it did not turn out well. The mustard made the fish to damp for the air fryer I guess. I love the machine, but have yet to master a good batter for it. I have had some success with bread crumbs and pork rinds.
