Watch,, it!! Health, exercise etc.

- Dont know if anyone with a Garmin GAS, but I tried Spotify on my watch and quickly deleted it. The music function on Garmin is much easier to navigate. IMO.

- 3 years later and Low Aerobic is still an issue.

- 6 skraight nights above 75 and 72 last night. Lol.

LAGAF.

Garmin intensity minutes are a way to track moderate and vigorous physical activity. Garmin smartwatches automatically calculate intensity minutes based on your heart rate or steps per minute.

Most health organizations recommend that adults get at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity each week

Most health organizations recommend that adults get at least 75 minutes of vigorously intense physical activity each week

I read a Garmin thread where people were talking about getting 1000 per week and laughing at 150.

I was doing about 350 (5 days). So I raised my goal to 400. Started getting 500. Raised goal to 600, last week I got 854.

Point? I just raised my goal to 850. Hope to reach 1000 this week.

I feel healthier at 60 than I did at 40.

True story.

My Garmin Fitness Age is 56. My goal is 52.

I wish I had paid more attention to the importance of good sleep before I was 60.

Anyone ever dealt with feeling vibration in your body? That's the new thing I'm dealing with. So frustrating. Hoping we (me and doc) figure it out soon. Been dealing with it over a year, but embarrassing to say, I just recently realized it wasn't my house. Lol.

Feeling vibrations in your body, also known as "internal tremors," could be caused by a range of factors including stress, anxiety, fatigue, low blood sugar, certain medications, or underlying neurological conditions like Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, or essential tremor; it's important to consult a doctor to determine the cause and receive proper treatment if the sensation is persistent or concerning.

I ain't tellin how many I can do.

So, what number should you be aiming for? While fitness standards can vary based on age, gender, and training experience, here's a general guideline:

  • Beginner: 15 to 30 squats without stopping
  • Intermediate: 40 to 60 squats without stopping
  • Advanced: 60+ squats without stopping
  • Elite: 75+ squats without stopping
Hitting that elite level means you have strong legs, serious endurance, stability, and mental fortitude.

Pretty much just me talking about fitness/smartwatches. They keep me motivated to exercise and stay healthy and they're fun to play with. I read everything about the 3 biggest brands. And souce still sucks in any thread.

Wrong! I don't have an iPhone or an Apple watch fugger!
Seriously? You have a pixel phone...I guess that should have been enough for me to put it together. Okay.

But I thought you once said you had an Apple watch. My bad. What watch you have? Fitbit?

I've got two Garmins (one I might as well throw away, you can't read half the screen) and a Galaxy Active 2. The Garmin is prettier, and the band is more comfortable, but I can see the Galaxy better. The Garmin will track my weight (don't remember how). And I like it better overall, but it won't connect to IQ cause it isn't compatible.

That galaxy active 2 was a sweet watch several years ago.. It's old though and gets no new updates.

The Garmin app might need to be updated or maybe you need to disconnect one of the garmins from the phone.

The Garmins are old too, they are Vivomove and Vivomove 2 I think.

I want a new Garmin, but I don't know which one.

Edit, they are Lily's. Why such a girly name I don't know. It's a really pretty watch tho.

Me and Mal discussed Garmins back in December. Depending on what's most important to you and how much money you want to spend. He bought HPPW the Garmin Venu 3. That's a great watch.

Samsung 8 will be coming out in August, but it's supposedly not much of an upgrade from the 7 and tge 7 wasn't much from the 6 and the six wasn't much from the 5, in fact most people like the 5 better than the 6 and 7.

You can get a good deal on any of the last 3 Samsungs and they're basically all the same.

If you have an Apple phone the Sammy's won't work anymore. Garmin will.
