Total War: Warhammer

Same on my two tries. I get rolled at around T40 which is embarassing.

That pesky geography.

I got to about turn 90 before they sucker punch me. only thing I can think of is just to rush them. once they crap out multiple armies it is impossible to stop them. doesn't help that chaos arrives at the same time.

Shoot, I'm having trouble as the Wood Elves right now. I made the mistake of letting Bretonnia be, and now they've amassed quite the confederation. I'm hoping Chaos puts a big dent in them before the dust settles.

you should be able to roll chaos with one army. havent faced the bretonians yet since they became a playable faction so I don't know what they are like to go against. but I wouldnt be worried.

wildwood rangers= winning. nuff said.

Yeah I actually just put them to use against some orcs for the first time in a real fight and I was pretty impressed. It's those damn knights from Bretonnia that are making me have a very bad day.

rangers are great against large targets. I have had a single unit take on two giants and win. now they get mauled, but they won that fight.

If the picture holds any weight, it would certainly mean an Aztec/Mayan Central American type of setting.

By the way, Humble Bundle has the first 15 Horus Heresy books for $15 right now. Great deal.

i think a central/south america total war would be cool. but I don't know how much variety they could put into that game.

I admittedly know very little about central american armies but I figure it would be even more vanilla than Rome 2 when it first came out.

Do you imagine it may be essentially a version of empire 2, but the timetable wouldn't be from 1700-1800, and instead the campaign would start with the invasion of the new world?

WTW 2 confirmed. Dark Elves, High Elves and Lizardmen definitely confirmed. Skaven implied. its only a short 30 second video but still looks pretty cool

hopefully not. I would hope that actually comes mid or late game. perfect mongolian situation

It looks like it's going to be amazing, but was there no info about a historical total war?

From what I have read they won't announce anything on that until after wtw 2. Which is supposed to release this year

Oh for some reason I thought the new historical total war would be released before the second war hammer
