Tom Clancy's The Division

I would recommend hitting the dz early, as it is tiered by levels. First lvl is 1-13. I went in last night as a lvl 7 and was able to get a ton of gear; some of it I could use immediately. Sure, I got my ass kicked a few times but if you're opportunistic and keep a low profile, you can rack up

With the roaming bands of npc in the DZ it's almost not worth attacking other players right now. You'll rack up plenty of gear without going Rogue.

indeed - the ones who do act shady quickly get jumped by everyone else, from what I've seen.

It's super entertaining to just sit back and watch the mexican standoff at the drop zones when a heli comes in.

Absolutely love this game, the cover system is smooth and fantastically done. I'll be on later if anyone on xboxone wants to play. I'm level 6 about to be 7, trying to set up the wings in the HQ right now Vols4NCn2012

Went into the Dark Zone a few levels early (Lvl 12) and I love it. Easily the best part of the game for the challenge and gear drops. I also love how every interaction with other players feels like a standoff.

I have not played The Division yet but it looks like it's shaping up to be similar to Destiny in the fact that professional reviews of the game have been very lukewarm (I see a lot of scores in 6-7 range) but gamers seem to really like it.

a ton a players are maxing out lvl 30 a lightning speed and really only have the dark zone left for the long haul... wonder if that will be enough

Been leveling the cheap way (running with several LVL 30s in high level instances). Went from 12 to 16 the legit way by myself last night, then ran with them for a couple of hours and got to 20 lol. Going to keep this strategy going, as I want to get to 30 ASAP.

So you basically Foxhole Freddy when you run with the 30's? Do you level up just by being present??

Which is what is keeping me from playing it. I was hoping it wouldn't shape up to be Gears of Destiny 😞

Cool video comparing New York to the game.

I'm excited about these "incursions" which are like Destiny's raids -- or at least that's how i understand them.

I contributed by group healing and by sniping. They definitely did the heavy lifting though, and yes, you get XP from every kill the group makes and completing the instance. I'm at Lvl 25 after starting at 20 after work today using this strategy. Now I contribute much more, though lol.

Nice! I have a few level 30 buds that I've avoided running with; might start doing this now.

I have little interest in grinding out the story missions; would rather get to the good stuff and pvp
