Question... what would happen to the McDonalds cashier if they told a customer to suck their unit? Trust me, cops are not the only ones in this world that have to deal with annoying people. Stop it.

What about the woman who put numerous people in harm’s way? The incident is unfortunate, but she chose to run and drive recklessly as hell over a registration issue.

Your question is valid. She deserved to be apprehended, tried in a court of law, and be given a reasonable sentence under the law for her actions.

Ok and again, not saying that behavior was acceptable. And to compare what police deal with to what McDs deal with is silly

There was nothing that officer went through in that call that is more extreme or out of the ordinary than what a McDonalds cashier would face day to day. The cashier would get fired for telling a customer to suck his unit.

Nope. He should be fired on the spot.

In any other leadership position if you tell a co-worker, a subordinate, a customer, or some other Joe blow while on duty to suck your d$ck you would be fired on the spot. No apology letters, no written reprimands, but fired.

We want to hold citizens to a higher standard than cops which is disgraceful. We always assume what police officers have to deal with everyday on the job, but what about the average citizen being harassed over a blown license plates light?

Right off the bat you assumed those citizens were crackheads. Do cops believe all citizens are criminals? They were going through a very trying situation and instead of de-escalating the situation he tells them to suck his d$ck. Are police officers not trained in de-escalation techniques?

Bad employees are fired everyday for their job performance. Why are cops rewarded for bad performance?

Wester had stopped her for a defective brake light in 2018 and asked for permission to search her truck. She agreed. He claimed he found a baggie of methamphetamine in her purse — but body camera video showed him palming a bag before beginning his search.

WTF is wrong with cops that do this kind of crap?

There seems to be quite a few stories about cops pulling someone over for a busted tail light and then wanting to search the vehicle. Same thing happened with a UT football player here recently. Why do they need to search the vehicle in these instances? If the only problem is that one of the tail lights is out, tell the person to get it fixed and let them go or at most write them a ticket for it. A defective break light alone doesn't present the need to search the vehicle.
