That is true. The cops wouldn't have given him a pass. But I think this was the proper punishment all the way around. The cop started the fight and is being punished with 4 days off no pay, but isn't going to jail. My thing is that citizens should be given the same level of punishment. Not every crime or violation needs to result in jail time.

There’s no defense for the police here. It’s outrageous plain and simple. The police should be held to the same standard as any other citizen.

Are you kidding right now? The guy says he has a gun and will shoot them and acts like he does. That moron narrator said you have to wait to be shot at before shooting. That tells me he doesn’t understand the law (among other things he said that were completely wrong)

Where did you see violence.
The only violence was from the police who murdered a guy who obviously did not have a gun.

He was stalking his ex girlfriend and has a long history of violence. And threatening to shoot someone with an alleged gun you have behind your back while resisting arrest is violence

There’s no evidence of stalking at the time of the incident. There’s no evidence of a history of violence at the time of the incident. So what we have is poorly trained officers making bad assumption which resulted in loss of life.

Who apparently hates police because he got fired at an agency and no one else would hire him. I get on him because he claims to be some expert, yet routinely makes claims that are 100% wrong. He doesn’t even understand simple state law and makes buses generalizations (women lie and never get charged with violating an order of protection; this guy showed no violence; he wasn’t trespassing if he had a shirt there, etc) that any real officer would know is 100% BS

Hatred of women? LOL, what? Because he criticized the woman for letting an "alleged" abusive boyfriend back in her home after she asked for a restraining order? Did you even hear the 911 call? She was being very deceptive on the call. At first it was "somebody" trying to enter her home, then she admitted it was her ex-boyfriend.

Do cops do any kind of low level thinking when it comes to domestic issues like this? Or are the cops more like you and just assume that the guy is in the wrong and Pearl Pureheart is just as innocent as the Virgin Mary?

He dismisses women generally which I believe is due to his own past experiences which led to his current job status.
She wasn’t being deceptive, lots of people begin 911 calls with general info then provide more as the call goes on.
He still had no right to be there harassing her, regardless of her bad decision making a few days prior. he also clearly was having psych issues as well.
he clearly broke at least 2-3 laws on the video and his behaviors made him the “bad guy” not just what she said

I get your point, but one thing he said makes a ton of sense. I have a good friend who’s ex was having an affair.... she got caught.... got a restraining order.... and this guy is not a violent person at all.... several weeks go by.... she asks him to come back home.... he does for a couple of months..... well... she was still seeing the other guy and my friend.... in front of some other people grabbed her phone away from her.... she calls the cops... he gets arrested and prosecuted. She broke the terms of the restraining order just as much as he did, but came out of it unscathed. My friend went through hell

Since he didnt get her to take the steps of rescinding the order, he is an idiot for moving back there., and then physically grabbed her phone during a domestic argument? Sounds like he deserved what he got.

But there are several instances of women breaking their own restraining order and getting arrested for it, i've done it at least a dozen times myself in my former life.
