And? It’s a junior high team. This concern over not having a power back is not a novel thought. And nothing has changed.
but seriously what did you want them to do to that “junior high” team?
Minus that last Shuler debacle they ran for 236 at 4.7, with Wright averaging 6.8 per.
Tennessee only punted twice, only had 6 penalties, had several made 3rd down runs, had multiple goal line made runs………..isn’t that what they are supposed to do?
Not saying “hey there’s nothing to be concerned about.” However the running game was there…….especially with the ones and two’s. There was definitely power “when needed”………but this really isn’t a “power” team.
Just not too sure we can draw too many conclusions…….especially negative ones from a 59-10 shellacking.
TOP was a huge concern…..it was almost dead even.
“JR high team” or not Tennessee did what they should have done……and in the past…….something they didn’t always do, they took care of business. Heck it was 45-0 (I think) before they even gave up a score. They playing with one’s Tennessee playing with twos and threes.
We will all know a lot more after the Pitt game.
