MBRO, my cousin was diagnosed with glioblastoma just before you started this thread. I've been following your progress in parallel. When she lost her hair during initial treatments, I shaved my head in sympathetic support.

So much has transpired since then. When you posted of difficulties with speech, my cousin was texting to others face to face rather than struggle with speaking. Your good news lifts my spirits. I'm hoping she has similarly good news.

Well, this stuff seems to be responding to the imunootherpey treatments. The tumor in the back showed marked improvement according to the doc, and the one in front was unchanged. He's bordered up more treatments. All in all a great report. God is good!

I'm starting a separate thread per request. For those that don't already know, they found a 3 cm tumor on my brain on Friday. I met with the neurosurgeon today. They're doing surgery on the 15th to have it removed. I've asked my daughter to post updates on the progress of the operation when it's done.

Even though I've never met most of you, I consider you guys to be friends, and I value those friendships tremendously. Thank you guys for the friendship, and the awesome community that is Volnation .

Prayers sent. My Dad had a tumor about the size of a golf ball on his frontal lob the doctor said it was probably there for 20 years growing. He picked my son up from school for me since I was at work and right when he parked at the house he had a seizure and we didn't know what was wrong I thought it was a stroke but that's how we found out it was the tumor he had it removed a little over 3 years ago he is better now. I haven't read your updates yet but stay positive and I will keep praying.

I hate to even post more, but I'm afraid there's not much else to do. My dad has been in the hospital for about 5 days.

He is diabetic. He had a wound on his foot. He and my stepmom tried to treat it because they've been through it before, but it became infected.

He got really sick with a fever. Rushed to the hospital. Long story short, he's gonna lose some bone from his foot possibly more.

He's already had two surgeries this week with another one tomorrow at 7:30.

Each day has been a rollercoaster. He's been ok and alert, then sick and in bad shape.

Not sure how this one turns out...
