Fair enough. Just seems like everyone is super riled up like it was a shock and we will suffer consequences because of their decision. Yes, the committee are mostly fools. It's hard for me to understand people getting so upset over something they knew was coming.
Getting riled up is what VN does. lol

I've said a couple of times that I won't lose sleep. I kind of like that there's a swell of social media basically telling the recruits over and over that UT is better and Bama is a coddled relic getting by on past accomplishments. It's kind of nice.

But also, the committee is the authority here. Folks need to burn them with fire if they're not properly filling that position.

Your logic would basically equate to, "Why speak out against gov't corruption? I mean, it won't help. They are who they are. You shouldn't expect better. And by the way, their selective enforcement isn't really hurting me, so I don't see the need to make waves about it."

Here's something to consider. . . instead of giving 100% of credit to Hooker, at some point folks are gonna have to realize that Heupel consistently produces great QB play from pretty much any QB he has to work with.

Hooker was awesome and better than most QBs could ever be, but I think Heupel will have our QBs, who ever they are, prepared and ready to produce in this offense. He knows how to scheme to their abilities and take advantage of what they are good at.

I think the idea that our offensive production will fall off the face of the earth without Hooker is inaccurate. Heupel has proven he can get great QB play and deserves credit for what he's already achieved with past QBs.

If people are questioning our offense without Hooker, then Heupel should get the credit he deserves. Our offense without Hooker shouldn't be a crutch for the committee to use in our ranking position with Heupel as the coach.

Hooker was created, not signed.

....and that kids, was the turning point in both the UT and Alabama football programs. Tennessee would go on to have an unprecedented run of amazing seasons where they cemented themselves as one of the top teams of all time. Alabama on the other hand forced their HOF HC Nick Saban into retirement after two 10-2 seasons with consecutive losses to the Vols and they then entered a 25 year period of irrelevancy where they often missed bowl games completely and never achieved anything higher than the Liberty Bibberty Bowl.

I liked then unliked this post...just because.

Been a long day Vols. Lost a good friend. He fought the good fight but enters into Gods kingdom. And here I am in a hotel room, away from my family, chatting with you strangers. Please pray for my friend Richard. He was a good man with a wonderful perspective and great smile. He has a big family. It gives perspective. Be kind. Appreciate what we have. Bowl games don't matter. Whether the Orange, Sugar, or Cottom. Be thankful. Be happy. Be you. Love you all. Signing off.
Prayers!

We have a culture problem.

Wait, do we even have a culture?
I've always pictured in my mind much of Volnation being uncultured, looking something like this....
