C'mon, that's not what "no guarantee" means. There's no guarantee that the sun will rise tomorrow. It's a true statement that means little. In other words, apt in the context imo. You should be more concerned if someone guarantees something that he cannot know.

Good to see that the fan base uniting behind the Nico drama lasted all of 3 days and now we’re back to complaining about how this staff sucks at recruiting and that this year will be a disaster. Good stuff.

I remember we offered him out of HS and were in his top schools. Wonder if we would be interested again?

Heupel did a home visit with him there and he visited here. RG liked him enough for those things to happen. We'll see.

What the heck are you talking about. Our QB recruiting is excellent and two very good OL classes the last two cycles. Our receiver class with Jackson and Smith and the TE’s we got us very good. Our RB room will continue to produce. The worse thing about this offense is not the recruiting but that the 5 star QB sucked last year and then his dad screwed it’s up for him and us. I think he would’ve taken a leap in on the field year 2. With all the crap Pruitt restrictions we’ve been handcuffed but this staff has got us the best 3 years in decades. You cry about this staff as much as anyone on this board. Now, they need to get the right QB.

I tried to convey this take in a post of my own but didn't do as good of a job as you just articulated. I generally like Jack but he beats this drum to death!

Probably nothing more than a depth guy that can hold up well enough to give our top 4 interior guys a break. Then again, we all thought Moi was going to be that type of player and he ended up being really productive.

It really seems like we have about 50-70% of the money we think we have. We don’t even try with the big names in the portal. When is the last time a huge portal name everyone wanted even visited here?

Not being able to get any traction with a good WR is crazy.
