Who was that Vol DT that was thinking of jumping in portal last year? Got playing time, tall guy, and was productive..Phillips? He will be good depth.

Honestly I’ve tuned out a bit after letting my 247 sub slide and reevaluating life. But I’m creeping back in on VN ever since the Nico drama and happenings. But I just got the info from the pinned “Transfer” thread on the football forum page. I haven’t even looked on utsports.com to confirm, TIFWIW..

Has to be all American as a returner because his receivers numbers aren’t that great.

Looks like we’re gonna upgrade our wide receiver room after all. Not speaking specifically about the BYU kid. There are others that we are in discussions with.
Also gonna get us a quarterback to compete with the two youngsters for QB one this fall
And will add at least one, maybe 2 three
technique defensive lineman for Rodney to work with. Could also be another OL or two when it’s all said and done. Remember this staff works in stealth mode until it’s official.

Patience grasshoppers. When the dust clears our portal gains this spring will speak for themselves

Apparently had a good spring (doesn’t everybody?) and was inline to be BYU’s #2 WR. Judging by his KR numbers he has a chance to be a big play option out wide which we need. Also it’s been a while since we’ve had a dynamic KR.

No, I just know we have more than one target that is an established WR. The people on the inside that do know who we are talking to aren’t talking to anyone that would let that information out in the public donate. Loose lips sink ships. The information that is getting out publicly is coming from the recruit.

Dee Williams was a good kick returner. Boo flashed at Punt Return but I wasn't as impressed with our kick return unit last year which was mostly Lewis and Seldon.
