Peterman

I'm sure it wasn't easy for NP to instantly adjust to game speed on the fly with a inexperienced OLine. He comes in the game during a 3rd quarter when a opposing defense is already warmed up and at full speed. I would expect three and outs.. How many did Worley have.. You can't adequate evaluate a QB based on a handful of snaps.

Way to many dimensions going on to say he a good / bad QB IMO without watching him play from start to finish.

I went to Armwood high school for my Sr year & the curriculum was much tougher at WGHS than it was at AHS. AHS is where Cowart goes to school, BTW. I would rather of went to any county high school than GHS! Mostly stuck up *****'s at GHS that think their shiz don't stink!

"Rather of went?" I rest my case.

Nothing else to say really. This is what was told to me. Someone on here mentioned that he was enrolled in grad school this semester. I have no clue about that.

I have a feeling that this has been known for awhile and even told to our QB recruits. This is why UT went after Sherion late in the game.

Flame away if you want, just passing on info.

I have learned to never believe a word you say.

Thank you. You made the only point that I have been trying to make , and quite succinctly.

Don't see why some WANT NP to transfer... He is a good example as he works hard and is a great guy. Its not like him being on the roster hurt our ability to recruit QBs. See our current 2015 QB class. I hope NP stays at UT.

Simple. Less snaps for everyone else.

It's just beyond me why some of y'all want to take a shot at a young man who accepted the opportunity to play for UT, and has represented our school with class and sportsmanship. I just don't get it.

Anybody help me with who Cowart is? I googled and found Armwood High School in Florida. It must be near Brushywood Country Club from Caddy Shack.

It's not official yet but we all thought this was a probable outcome when we brought in three QB's this year. I thought Peterman was put in some bad situations at times. Kinda hope he stays but if he chooses to leave good luck to him.

For the majority of us it's nothing more than discussing the qb position for the team we follow. Peterman is a qb for that team....nothing more, nothing less. His stats/performances have spoken for themselves. I'm a Tennessee fan before anything else and I want the best qb playing that gives the Vols a chance to win.....and this forum is the place to discuss it.....Peyton was better than Shuler who was better than Clausen who was better than Ainge, etc, etc....

I wish Nathan well, he's been a credit to the program. I would hope that my son would conduct himself and represent his family in the same manner and with the same class and resiliency that Nathan has. I just don't want to see him behind center for the sake of my team. It's nothing personal.

Honestly, that was my problem with Peterman. He was so bad that it seemed like 99% of Volnation would actually be as good or better than him in most of those series. I just can't fathom how anyone with a D1 scholarship is that bad...

You would think 72 grad is his momma the way he takes up for NP with no ground to stand on other than him being a Vol!

72 is a good dude defending a UT player because he feels like the kid didn't get a fair shake. Nothing wrong with it and this is certainly the place to debate it.
