Peterman

11 plays for 14 yards. Technically, you are right.
In the spirit of the conversation, I don't think those numbers are helpful lol.

Especially the 5 plays for 1 yard.
The 5 plays for a yard included a first down, and then a grounding penalty after the first down, which subtracted yardage. I am not trying to be helpful. I am merely showing some guy that his statement about Peterman having two 3 and outs versus Georgia is 100% wrong. I don't make up lies on this forum to make my argument sound better like some posters do.

Nate Peterman is NOT transferring, according to Mike Bajakian, the UTAD and various TN beat reporters. According to the Knoxville News Sentinel:

"A UT spokesman said that Peterman is enrolled in graduate school courses for the spring semester and Bajakian said Friday that he "has no indication" that Peterman is looking to transfer.

'Nate and I talk all the time,' Bajakian said in an interview with Josh Ward and Will West of The Sports Animal. 'He is a part of our program. He is a part of our team.'"

That article is at least a week old if not more. That's an eternity in news like this.

Easy... I think you are taking my post more serious than it was intended. Another poster has a point, you seem a bit touchy about the subject.

It's all opinions. If you think "we would have won state"
if coach had just played Nate more, congrats for thinking outside the box.

No, the other poster's point was basically that I made up stats about Peterman and his lack of 3 and outs, because he remembered a couple against Georgia that didn't ever happen. I proved him wrong. That is not an opinion. That is a fact!

If NP was as good as some wish to believe Josh Dobbs would still be wearing a redshirt.
I never said that he was better than Dobbs. I said that he is not as bad as some would like to believe, and that he hasn't had time to get acclimated to the game speed. He has played about 3 quarters with the starters in a game this year He threw 20 passes this year. That is less than a game's worth.

He has been in some tough situations without many successful outings to draw from, because he has not gotten to play against lesser teams to build confidence. That is my only point. He does not deserve the hatred that he receives from forum idiots.

Guess we'll just disagree 72. I just saw panic in Peterman whenever I saw him play....vs Florida, vs Georgia, vs OleMiss in particular. Very few players ever rise to the level of being a qb on an SEC roster...still fewer can actually get on the field, play with poise and have success. God bless the kid whether he transfers or continues on Tennessee's roster.
I am not sure of what he did against Ole Miss. All that I can find is that he came in with the score 27-3 with about 7-1/2 minutes to go in the game. He ran the ball twice for 9 yards, fumbled and we recovered, and he handed it off once to Derell Scott once. 3 plays is all that I can find, and the game was over by then. Apparently, Worley didn't fare too well either.

Your memory is what you want it to be apparently.
Tenn vs Georgia 2014:

Peterman 1st possession: entered game 8:33 third quarter Tenn 41 yard line -- 8 plays 38 yards (2 first downs) time of possession 3:17
ended with fumbled exchange with Lane on Georgia 21 yd line.

Peterman 2nd possession: entered with :15 remaining in 3rd quarter Tenn 9 yard line---5 plays 1 yard (1 first down) time of possession 1:38 ended with punt from 10 yard line

Peterman 3rd possession: entered with 12:45 remaining in 4th Tenn 20 yard line--6 plays 13 yards (1 first down) time of possession 1:36 ended with punt from 33 yard line

I will accept your apology for basically calling me a liar anytime. Thanks in advance.

My apologies for you being a NP jock sniffer? Na, prob not! So what if there were no three & outs, he stunk up the whole field with his presence & that's pretty much the only scenario anyone with a brain can come to. IMO!!! His performance was very atrocious against uga & that is all that really matters!

....and I would think that he did something to you personally since you seem to enjoy bashing a 20 year old with little experience, thrown to the lions, but I guess you were a better qb. One 3 and out versus Alabama and NO 3 and out versus Georgia. Total of 5 series. You must have gone to North Greene or Chuckey Doak with a memory like that. Because you remembered 2 three and outs versus Georgia. They didn't happen.

Actually, I went to wghs. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter if my memory on NP's three & outs was correct or not. He was horrible & that is a FACT you can take to the bank!

I didn't think that you were in the city schools.

Ya & 1972Grad also tried to say that NP only had 1 three & out against uga & bama. I seem to remember a couple in the uga game alone. Anyway, NP is a good kid but bad QB. Not everyone has " It ".
This post was why I asked for an apology. Like....Ya!

I went to Armwood high school for my Sr year & the curriculum was much tougher at WGHS than it was at AHS. AHS is where Cowart goes to school, BTW. I would rather of went to any county high school than GHS! Mostly stuck up *****'s at GHS that think their shiz don't stink!

Don't see why some WANT NP to transfer... He is a good example as he works hard and is a great guy. Its not like him being on the roster hurt our ability to recruit QBs. See our current 2015 QB class. I hope NP stays at UT.
