I disagree on the first one. I think the boosters not named Haslam believed the Gruden deal was done. AV said there is a clear plan and another plan beyond the first plan. I hold strong that the clear plan was the 5 year plan and the plan beyond was the 10 year plan. That's why I think some wouldn't be comfortable with it. I think the boosters thought this was settled at BlackBerry farm weeks ago.
I hope that Peyton helped hang the Haslams. I don't know that he did, but I certainly hope he did.
I always enjoy talking with you as well.
Thanks, and never remember what type of engineer you are but remember a post about Nuclear, you might know my dad if you are in that field
Thanks for all your posts and info and insights and here's to you! :good!:  :clapping:
Fulmer basically said Tee Martin is going to be
head coach Vols.
Im still astonished how the national media is portraying us- just a s dumb, irrational fans.
No one sees the BIG picture. Several great articles out there, to include our very Miss Celina Summers blog, about the real fight.
And not one has picked up on the real reVOLt.
VolNarion has made history!!! Im so proud.
Exactly if this uprising results in getting us a good coach and back to a tradition of winning, the volnation will make the 12th man look like a needle in a haystack!
One is good but an orange flood of volnation fans is a force to behild
Good morning! I said its great to be a Tennessee
Right there he says somebody that has been a head coach.
Again to me that excludes Tee
I doubt hed take a lateral move but if he were OC for Gruden and coach Im waiting I think we would have the perfect storm.
I think its what Gruden wants as well ( admittedly knowing nothing- but merely what Ive surmised)
He has now put out Part 3 which among other things talks about social media and our twitter guru'sRocky Top Revolt: The Real Story (Part 2: The Administration) - Last Word on College Football
That explains it, without even needing to mention Gruden.
Short answer: Haslam puppet. Haslam wanted Schiano.
Part 3: A False Narrative
Call it the tweet that sparked a revolt. When USA Todays Dan Wolken broke the story that Tennessee was set to hire Ohio States Greg Schiano last Sunday, it sparked an unprecedented social media backlash from fans that included Tennessee state political leaders and local businesses. It also ignited a curious fierce back-and-forth between media members with a national voice and the regional voices of Tennessee fans and Knoxville media. These reactions and competing narratives signal some important observations and lessons learned about the national media and the contemporary sports journalism environment.
Agree 100% I believe Peyton worked with Fulmer, giving Currie the rope to put around his neck.If you really want the answer go back and read, everything.
Someone posted yesterday for the first time that Atlanta's posts about a plan A and B, and that maybe the plans were A Haslam plays ball, and B, he doesn't.
It was the first post I saw that took the words for a different meaning, ie plan b was another coach.
Brilliant. I think the original Atlanta post is gone, so I haven't re-read it. But, it makes a lot of sense, and the news that broke Monday of the MOU on Friday the 24th and meeting for the 26th to sign, the CBS release before the USA today piece, to finalize is when HOH went and did hat he did. And, I truly believe Manning was the catalyst for HOH to hang himself and was one of the truest Volunteers in all of this, not a "traitor".
If you really want an answer, go ahead and cancel your weekend and go back and read everything from about 16th or 17th on, or
wait and see what announcement comes out.
I'm no nuc! I'm an industrial engineer. Our thermodynamics classes were nuclear thermo, and Dr. Bill Snyder was my professor. He was also the chancellor at the time. He was kind, genuine, and he absolutely loved the university of Tennessee.
Yes, with all the ups and down over the last couple of months. The body could no longer contain the emotion and they were released. I felt tears in seeing Davenports' realization that this is truly a place like no other. Looking at her face, you could see the hell she has went through. Then again, with Fulmer, the pride and love he has for the University was enough to bring any grown man to tears.
