BabyVol, VQ....
The reason to wait is simple. The minute you name Gruden then Dale Jones, Tee Martin, Kevin Steele, etc.... are all going to be bombarded with questions about whether or not they will be interested in coming with him to TN. It will be a media circus and talk of college football world. Gruden wants to wait til their regular seasons are over with. Ive heard TN would like to go ahead and name him this week to be able to use Vandy game to recruit. Not sure which way they go. Either way we will soon knock college football world for a loop, Go Vols!!!!

What if... We get Gruden, but he only agrees to come for one year. Then the head coach in waiting would take over. Possibly a coordinator with no HC experience that would shadow Gruden as an assistant HC for the first year.
This has been my opinion for awhile. Its done so I reality what benefit is achieved by announcing before vandy? Beside pacifying the fan base.
Trust me I want to hear ignorance announced like a month ago. But at the end of the day as long as its finished then we are set. And it is finished
Maybe its just me, but Vegas has Gruden as the clear front runner and almost 2/1 over Mullen. Why does this carry no weight with the media? Vegas isnt in the business of losing money or being wrong.
