But often, it is an indication of where the "smart" money is going. If you had very credible info, gambled regularly, and wanted to place a bet with the odds heavily in your favor....

Vegas odds usually, but not always, show the likely winner.

On an unrelated topic. I have a friend whose favorite player all time is Al Wilson. I got to introduce him to Al last night it was really fun to watch. As they were talking it hit me maybe we should send Al to get our next coach. He is one motivating TN loving machine.

As bat sh** crazy as it sounds, I believe knuck.

The one thing that I am having issues with on the VC thing, there has not been a specific word said in all of this - "incubator". That is the word that most VC groups would be investing in as there is the chance of a huge return. A straight investment into a college does nothing for them, they can't sell it, they don't own a piece of it and it's not a viable company.

Kinda off topic, but after reading the SDS article on how Saban ended up at Alabama, we just need to send the big hitters right to Cindy Gruden. A lot of similarities into what I would think the Gruden situation is like as well.

How awesome would it be if Florida announces Chip Kelly as the next head coach and then John Currie says “hold my beer” and brings out Jon Gruden to the podium

It seems a bit down in here so I will re-share what I learned Friday night:

1. I'm at 50% on getting Gruden. While that may seem low, it is not. It means that we have offered, the money is right, and it is in Jon's court.
2. Recruits coming in for Vanderbilt have been told they will leave that game "knowing who will be the next coach at Tennessee."
3. The fact that it is Sunday, Nov. 19th, and Gruden has not publically announced that he is not a candidate for the job, or passed, or flattered but not coming etc... IS VERY GOOD.
4. I think the decision has been decided, we just have not been told - obviously, and there are many good reasons why that is. It does not matter one bit that we all would have liked to know two or three days ago.

IF, we get no word from Jon's camp that he is out of consideration (for any reason) then my percentage will start to go up.

So, that's my 25 cents worth....

I’m really new, I just came around this go-round for Gruden, I just lurked in 2012. But, here it goes.

1. What proof do you have AV is trolling?
2. What proof do you have Beave is trolling?
3. Ever since I lurked along time ago, and up until even now AV has been nothing but respectful and helpful.
4. Read 1-3
5. Get out
