Not bothered by any of this. Just because a player was highly recruited doesn't automatically translate to playing time at the college level. There are a lot of 2 and 3 stars that develop faster and take coaching better than so called (elite) players

They saw playing time, but probably more because we needed the depth. Helm played in all the games, but only had 6 catches for 37 yards all season. Hendrix played in far fewer games and only had 1 tackle, yes one.

I honestly believe this is just players not wanting to sit back and wait for their time, they want to be playing now, and it just hasn't happened. Plus with the recruits coming in, it'll just add more competition for playing time. Hope we keep them both though.

That's just it. I think there's more going on than fear of competition. In the last couple of weeks we've heard that Hendrix, Helm, Scott, and Sawyers are considering transfer. Somebody also mentioned Payne in this thread. That's 5 of the top recruits from this class.

I'm not surprised by 6 guys might want to leave. I would expect it in a class of 34. We have quite a few defensive ends coming in this next recruiting class. We also still have Corey Vereen, whom is going to start after Maggitt leaves. I'm going to wait for the eggs to hatch, and the chicks to fly away before I start pooping my panties.

Per Twitter: JONES: Daniel Helm has decided he'll go to another school. Hendrix and Scott will also be going to other schools.

So the list of transferring players are Paulk, Miller, Payne, Henderson, Helm, Scott, Hendrix, Pickett, Gamble, with probably Peterman?
