Helm and Hendrix saw plenty of playing time. Hendrix is a probable starter by 2016 if he stays.
That's just it. I think there's more going on than fear of competition. In the last couple of weeks we've heard that Hendrix, Helm, Scott, and Sawyers are considering transfer. Somebody also mentioned Payne in this thread. That's 5 of the top recruits from this class.
Not bothered by any of this. Just because a player was highly recruited doesn't automatically translate to playing time at the college level. There are a lot of 2 and 3 stars that develop faster and take coaching better than so called (elite) players
