No excuses next year for not having enough talent! Or that we are young.This is all on the coaching staff period. I never recall in the 90s and early 2000s Tennessee losing this many recruits.

OMG,
Stop crying. in the 90's and early 2000's you didn't get to play till you were atleast a sophomore and that is only if you were truly gifted or we had major injuries and needed you to step up. we had classes full of seniors and juniors...these kids now a days are spoiled and only go where they can play day one. These kids left because they couldn't make the starting line up as we are now. we have even more talent coming in this years class. Do you think they will be able to beat these new guys out? apparently they as players didn't feel they could make the lineup. So they move on so they can play. I appreciate them coming here in the first place and wish they would hold on and could grow into starters. But that is not going to happen. We move on and keep building. GBO

Well, you might be right, but as I recall, our attrition in those days came at the hands of the KPD and the courts. This is all necessary to get the absolute best team possible. If CBJ was not doing this, in one or two more years, everyone would be crying about failing to get rid of dead wood.

Just like a scholarship in chemistry, if the student does not make the grade, they lose their free ride. The difference is this is a bit more public and there are millions of dollars hanging in the balance.

It seems worse because on this team they had a chance to start or play a lot as freshmen. Several saw they got beat out and know what is coming in behind them. It is understandable if you are good enough to play somewhere else. When our current Freshmen are Seniors the new recruits will know they will be redshirted or play very little. It will work out. Patience. It is going to be good.

Also look for Kenny Bynum to transfer if Jakob Johnson starts the bowl game. Bynum has outperformed Johnson in every practice since AJ left. Bynum isn't set in stone though.

When we go 7-5 next year there will be all kinds of excuses about being young and not having enough talent. Weve heard these excuses since 2005. 9 years.When is this program going to have some stability?

Well next year we will still be extremely young whether you want to believe it or not, but I do expect 8 wins. 2016 we need to start competing for 'ships.

Kids are more weak minded than they were 15 yrs ago. Must have been too hard for some of them here. Good luck to them

If we go better than that, then you can go to hell. No excuses. Ive had to listen to people like you since 2005.

I say this in jest. I do get tired of people lIke you. Enjoy the bowl game and the ride. One day were dead and it doesn't matter.

Agreed we need stability like Alabama! You know, that team that runs more players off than any other team in the nation! That's why we can't win!

We are too much like the best team in the nation!

VN, we're on the right track! These sort of nitpicky complaints during the most successful season in at least four years with back-to-back top 10 recruiting classes is exactly what we saw when Tennessee was on top in the late 90s.

Whenever you see people *****ing and moaning about normal things, SMILE! :)

Latroy Lewis just made a tackle at de. He's one more tackle away from tying Hendrix on the season for you hendrix fans. Lewis, a guy that wants to be here.
