What a bunch of delusional idiots. That must be the “drip” dabo was talking aboutClemson side
10. First things first, though.
Clemson still has to finish its attempt to score its lone defensive tackle target for this class.
As you know, we have circled Greensboro (N.C.) Dudley four-star Payton Page as the remaining priority target most likely to come off the board next.
Page (6-4, 335), ranked No. 30 in the country, released a top three featuring Clemson, UNC and Tennessee two months ago.
He had desired to take his official visits this summer before making a decision going into his senior season. But obviously those trips could not occur, and thus we’ve characterized his recruitment as in a holding pattern, per our intel.
We checked back with contacts surrounding Page’s recruitment, and there hasn’t been substantial movement off that spot.
Our reporting had Tennessee as having surpassed UNC as Clemson’s challenger this spring, and we still have reason to consider that the case.
Yet there also continues to be the propagation behind the scenes that Clemson has backed off Page, and we will again reiterate that is not the case.
A difference exists between not being pushy and not pushing for a prospect, and you’ve seen us write many times already this cycle that Clemson's staff takes a less-is-more approach.
We also often repeat that to a point, the Tigers allow most recruits to make a decision on their time.
That figures to come in stark contrast to their competitors here, who have hoarded two more commitments than anyone in the country (23) and pulled the strings on racking up 14 pledges in a one-month stretch.
We continue to hear that Bates has done an impressive job with Page and family, and most of our sources feel Clemson remains the team to beat.
Slow and steady has won several races in this class.
The Tigers have done pretty well with this pace.
lol their writers and fans are so arrogant. When they fall from grace in the coming years it’ll be fun to witness. Same with Bama.Clemson side
