This is behind an Lsu paywall, and no i don't pay I like to take a shortcut called it's always free...Neways sounds like they chucked a bunch of cash at him kept him cool for now. They are also pushing for Matthew's #2 wr.That article also repeats at Naseaum quotes by the kids of how well LSU wrs are being developed, used and then killing it in the NFL.
If i was in his spot and it ain't about the $ i personally wouldn't come here. Here we go lol and most won't agree but it just is what it is.For instance u got reports daily of how well Deonte Thornton is looking. Its always the same things, kid has size n talent to be a really good wr.He was just dogsh*t at any sort of route running or timing or tree work.Kids listen n hear that stuff while Lsu is saying look look...Then showing em Chase and every other Wr they produced compared to us.I think 2 of em just got 99s in madden.Listen fellas it sucks but im just being brutally honest and I pray we get the kid for real so don't give ne that hater bs..if we land him I'll be the 1st to tip my cap because we cant hold a candle to Lsu and the results they have had recently.
Not to mention, the 'coach preparation' aspect is very overestimated. Don't make the job of helping a player become a better WR into rocket science. There could be an idiot that doesn't know what he is doing and hinders a player. But at this level that is going to be rare. What needs to be taught is going to be taught at most every major school. Not a single coach on LSU’s current staff had anything to do with Jamarr Chase. I’m not sure why people keep using him as an example. There are others that can be used and I’m not denying that but using Chase is lazy.
Good effort. But not exactly accurate. There is no issue with opinions. There is no "agenda" that needs to be followed. The opinions that get scrutinized are basically all opinions that either 1) are completely fabricated with no factual basis or 2) are fake opinions meant solely to get a reaction.![]()
Why flipping 5-star WR Tristen Keys from the LSU Tigers just got more difficult for the Tennessee Vols
2026 five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys is one of the Tennessee Vols' top remaining recruiting targets. Keys, 6-foot-3/180 lbs from Hattiesburg, MS, has been committed to the LSU Tigers since March. He's rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 4 overall player...sports.yahoo.com
Sorry for the long winded post yesterday but if u cant have an opinion then what's the point of a message board?Sadly if u don't agree with masses,ur just a troll or should be banned lol...I realize its not the message but how its delivered so my apologizes, could have done better with that part.At the same there's a good reason we have 68,000 members and only 2% even post or are active.Yall will eat your own with no hesitation if what ppl say doesn't line up with the agenda, and it takes away from what is an excellent site unfortunately..
I asked AP yesterday, he said this didn't factor in too much in his opinion![]()

You're likely right, but it is at least notable that his two thought-to-be suitors, should he decommit from LSU, are Texas A&M (an Adidas school) and Tennessee (a soon-to-be Adidas school). Probably just a coincidence, but maybe not. Miami was also high on his list. Also an Adidas school. So did Jeremiah Smith.
He portaling here since OSU is a Nike school?![]()
If we get keys I wouldn’t think it’s bc of apparel affiliation.
