Cain seems like a nice enough kid, but his inarticulation annoys me. It comes across as unprofessional (and, bluntly, dumb). It’s the opposite of Rucker, who annoyed other people by being articulate, which, I guess, came across to them as smarmy. To each his own, I suppose, but if you speak/write for a living, I think you should be able to pronounce words properly and use the correct word according to its meaning.

Rucker was annoying because he was annoying. That said, both are genuine it seems. Certainly neither are Mickey Dearstone. Could be worse.

It is fall camp. If the receivers are catching everything over the DBs, then the Defense is going to suck and the secondary is questionable at best. If the DBs make INTs then either the QBs have noodle arms and can't throw the deep ball or the WRs are ineffectual and don't know how to play. Either way, we suck. @Jackcrevol is just a neggaVol at heart and is performing his role as best he knows how.

Something that is surprising to me is how bad all of these cats sounds on pods / radio. So much money around UT athletics and this is how the guys who cover sports all sound? Never has felt very professional to me but like you say, to each their own.

If you ever listen to WIVK, you can hear the audible pauses where they've clipped together clauses using editing software. Always drives me nuts.

We were and are very blessed and fortunate to have Mike Keith and to have had Jon Ward. Its very difficult to do, and lots more work goes into it than people realize.

I'm not saying VQ doesnt use editing software, hell I dont know what they do. But it doesnt sound that way. I think the platform works. Again, it isnt Heather, Will, and Mickey in the AM.
