Posted a video of Merk from high school after spring practice and posted I hoped he went off for 350 yards and 4 tds against Syracuse. A few on here didn’t take it seriously and said it would be Aguilar’s.

Answer: we actually got a genetically modified prototypical blue-chip All-American QB, but it's a closely guarded secret. No one will know who it is until we trot him out for the 1st series.

I think of routes on air as transferrable, but to your point maybe our routes and WR speed is not something he's accustomed to.

Still hoping someone...anyone...runs away with the job. I wouldn't say this is a heavyweight battle, so hopefully someone can really separate themselves from the field in the next month.

A bit surprised G-Mac isn't more in the conversation as well, but that's tough as a true freshman.

GMac needs to add some weight and a little zip on his throws. He’ll be good eventually

Gmac going to be very good for us

Not worried at all re injuries so far in camp, it seems precautionary

Give Joey some time to build chemistry and get the playbook built into his brain before we worry

Defense looks to be possibly better than ever under this regime and our OL, TE, RB are looking fantastic.

QB and WR are our question marks and I’m willing to bet they will improve as practices continues as those positions are largely chemistry
