The lineman would changes sides depending were they were at on the field. So every lineman had to know both positions left and right not to mention if they were supposed to learn another position like a left tackle needing to know to play right tackle plus also needing to know how to play left guard and right as a backup. It was overly complicated for no reason.

Right.I saw somebody else this year using that philosophy.Ol Dave went on to become a decent head coach.

well ESPN is already reporting knowels is the target and the deal is being finalized so I don't know that would be a STRONG smoke screen.

He will be a major attribute to Heup's offense. Now that he's on the same team, he can explain how he stonewalled Heup's offense, in the playoff game last year. + help Halze/Heup understand what the other defenses are trying to do, to stop our offense. Hope we got some cerebral dudes on that defense next year. I'm sure Heup and Knowles will dial it down till these guys catch on.
