Kavanaugh Confirmation

It can be fixed, take away the avenue's of corruption and self serving greed.

Term limits
Low pay
No benefits, of any kind
Yearly forensic audits
Can not become a lobbyist after term is up
Accountability from all budgets and money that is signed off on, no more "waste, lost money, misplaced money", any time things don't add up every individual who has as signature on any piece of paper will be punished and sent to jail.

Last and most importantly, large tax free "rewards" for turning in corruption on every level of city, state, and federal governments.

This is a start that will make change.
I agree with all of this but the ones to do that are the ones that need kicked out.

K has been interviewing for this job for decades, numerous FBI background checks (which include talking to HS and college associates), an extensive anal probing from the BAR association (per CW) and simply being in the public eye for 20+ years. All without 1 single hint of an allegation of sexual misconduct.

So either the FBI is incompetent, the BAR association is a farce and overlooks sexual misconduct K and friends are masters at covering their tracks or these allegations are ********. Which is it?

We are supposed to believe he was Bill Cosby in high school and then suddenly cleaned up his act for the rest of his life.

This my friend is a very well thought out and stated solution .

There’s no advantage to try and be Spartacus when it was easily found out that you knew the documents had already been released but he still did it . There’s no advantage for dem protesters to follow Graham down a hallway while he’s giving an interview , but they still did it ... see the pattern ?

I'd only suggest looking below the surface. Of course I don't know what happened, in actuality.

To think such a plan could be contrived to further push that perception would be inconceivable to most, I understand this.
These are the people that sat on 30 yr old attempted rape allegations for six weeks, just to drop the shoe in the final seconds, use it for political theater and then claim the Rs are rushing things?

I think you minimize what most of America may think of the Democrats (and US politics in general).

On the prior investigations, was this specific allegation investigated? I think the answer is no.
The ABA would not have investigated this and they opine largely (if not exclusively) based on his work as a judge. In fact, I don't know if they look at anything other than his judicial record.
Yes, he was in the public eye to some extent, but not to the extent he is when he's nominated to the supreme court. More is on the line here. Given the pain and discomfort Ford experienced in coming forward, it's not terribly surprising that someone would do that to herself only when something really important was on the line.

Or too gullible. DiFi held this to the last minute in order to derail the nomination. Anyone that doesn't believe that is gullible or lying to themselves.

Boom!

Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, just announced he will vote to confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh. Flake was seen as one of the several key swing-vote senators who remained undecided on the nominee.

Following Thursday's hearing, moderate Senators Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, as well as Senators Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., and Flake all huddled to discuss the nomination, Fox News confirmed.

Dang. She's such a martyr. When does Ford get her sainthood?

Translation: im still scrambling and buying time looking for a semblance of coherence. In the meantime i will throw poo.
The only factual statement he made was that he was something of a barometer for middle america. OK, fine that he thinks that, but what does he have to show he's the typical independent voter? I can show you plenty of polls showing lots of independents are uncomfortable with Kavanaugh. That seems to have more weight than some guy saying here's what I think with no support whatsoever.

GOP Sen. Jeff Flake (Ariz.) said on Friday that he is supporting Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination, giving him a significant boost as Republicans try to confirm him early next week.
“While some may argue that a different standard should apply regarding the Senate’s advice and consent responsibilities, I believe that the constitution’s provisions of fairness and due process apply here as well. I will vote to confirm Judge Kavanaugh,” Flake said.
Flake’s decision comes less than a day after an emotional, hours-long hearing where both Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, a woman accusing him of sexual assault, testified for hours before the Judiciary Committee.
Flake called her testimony “compelling” but said he still had doubts after the hearing.

I don't think that disinformation has any decency. We could go through the examples of sending summons in the mail for campaign donations etc.. You only come up with examples of slimey people all around.

It won’t matter to the base but this was very bad optics for the Dems. This will go down in history as the BK defense and a standard for when and how to make a group of senators rock back on their heels . I also believe it sets the tone for both side on the next one ( RBGs replacement ) BK showed the Rs that you can go against tradition and you shouldn’t just sit there and take ever misslie that’s thrown at you and hope for the best , then Graham to his credit , cemented it in stone .

I've noticed the democrats trying to portray themselves as receiving death threats and victims in general. I think they are doing this to counter fascist thuggish behavior that's being exhibited by their own enforcers on republicans. Wonder why we've not heard stories of the democrats being accosted in restaurants, at their homes, in the halls of Congress, or in their offices?

You obviously have NEVER been subject to a BGC, they talk to damn near everyone you associated with during your life. Friends, family, teachers, co-workers ext and you expect us to believe that out of all the people the FBI interviewed they ALL covered for him? Not 1 single person spoke up and said "well back in HS K"?

And what about the extensive anal probing BGC (per CW) the BAR association does? Did they miss a serial sexual predator and allow him into their midst?

Suck it moonbats! Common sense dictates the same level of veracity applies even when you try to spin your BS “not a trial” narrative.

If his post was that bad it should need no reply. Besides,
It doesnt matter. Justices aren't voted in by the populace. Polls about them simply serve as a tool to rouse the rabble.

In a few weeks you will move on to the next apocalyptic event. I know it. You know it.
