You just went medieval on his butt, OC.I'm the perfect barometer. I'm no red hat. The problem with you dems is that centrist America isn't as stupid as you think and need us to be. This was transparent. For once in their spineless life, the Rs called your bluff and punched back. America sees you emaciated, blustering, conniving Ds for what you are. Bleeding, lying, unconscionable losers who will try and say anything for political gain.
Yep, and Graham nailed them for it.I'm the perfect barometer. I'm no red hat. The problem with you dems is that centrist America isn't as stupid as you think and need us to be. This was transparent. For those that wanted a stain to begin with absolutely. You had D senators publically and on national tv casting their belief to Ford before the accused ever took the stand. Expecting them or their followers to change direction now would be a waste. That's fine. That's their prerogative. There are no standards that they're subject to in voting up or down. But let's not act like their vote is any formal vindication of Kavanaugh and that these allegations will just disappear. This will be a stain on the court for as long as he's on it. Half of America will view him as illegitimate and a partisan stooge.

No advantage to the Dems to do so. Could be an ignorant staffer, but as a strategy, no way.
I'd guess Cruz.
If there ever was a case of the need for term limits, this is it. These jokers get entrenched so deep it's like a crime family. They are bought and paid for. They develop way too much power. They vote in laws that they are never subject to because they're never private citizens again until late in life and then they're super rich. They have taken so much money from special interest groups that they are simply puppets for those groups. They view themselves as royals in a monarchy. The get so much money from special interest groups it makes it impossible to get them out with the ballot box. Most Americans are gullible, choosing their candidate through tainted and biased news media and 15 second political ads. It's broke. Not much hope it will ever get fixed.
We can talk criminal standards when we get in a criminal trial. Not there yet. If an employer hears that a prospective employee has a history of getting drunk and fondling women at the bar (a crime), he doesn't have to hold a trial to determine whether or not he wants to hire the guy. He can just decide that he wants to hire someone who doesn't have this reputation.
