Jarrett Guarantano

Was hoping Jarrett stayed in during the 2nd quarter. Wanted to see if he could settle the nerves and get it going. He definitely has the better upside but may be a year away.

I actually feel better about JG after this game. He took a couple of brutal hits and kept it together. He gets the ball there in a hurry and sets up well mostly. Threw off his back foot a couple of times so I guess he sucks like Dormady. :) What this game accomplished is show that no one has been denied a birthright.

Based on? This keeps getting regurgitated but what tells you he has more upside?
We seen Dormady play some last year and some this year. He will be a journeyman QB and probably not much more. We hope JG has upside or we'll witness a bunch of sad games that might have been. It takes an elite QB to compete for the championships. I'll take my chances believing that JG has upside. It makes me feel better.

JG threw a few right between the numbers that receivers dropped. He also made a few dangerous throws, but it was Dormady who threw an interception and had the ball stripped from his hands. Both QBs have talent but need improvement.

So Greg McElroy and Craig Krenzel were "elite QBs"?
