Explosion in Boston?

Some information coming out on the bombs themselves. Allegedly pressure cookers were used, one with the ball bearings, the other had nails.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The explosives used in the deadly Boston Marathon bombing were contained in 6-liter pressure cookers and hidden in black duffel bags on the ground, a person briefed on the investigation told The Associated Press on Tuesday.

One of the explosives contained shards of metal and ball bearings, and another contained nails, the person said.

A second person briefed on the investigation confirmed that at least one of the explosives was made out of a pressure cooker. Both spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation.

Wonder if it was just one person. Yesterday seemed like so many different incidents had to be more than one.

Who knows I guess.

Well, now that they are saying its was just two devices and that there weren't 2-3 unexploded ones found, it becomes a lot more believable that this is one person.

SIAP, one really sad thing about all this is the Alex Jones-types (to include dolts like Cynthia McKinney) screaming "false flag!"

Had to be at least two people involved or really crappy security work.

Either security was incompetent and didn't notice a guy walking around with TWO large backpacks, or leaving one. Or had to be at least two people involved.

At an event like that there are mutiple people walking around with bags. Carrying racers stuff for them, moving bags, etc. Not uncommon to see individuals carrying a few bags.

Department of Homeland Security was concerned enough about pressure cooker bombs to issue an alert to federal and state security officials: “A technique commonly taught in Afghan terrorist training camps is the use/conversion of pressure cookers into IEDs,”

Pressure cookers have been used to hide IEDs in Afghanistan for years!

And leaving one behind to go drop the other without security that close to the finish line noticing? Then placing the second and walking away to safety?

I think it had to be at least two people.

Maybe the person wants us to think it was a Muslim terrorist. All I know is that AQ has not come forward and they aren't bragging about it.
