Explosion in Boston?

While this thread has certainly had its share of politically charged, divisive conversation, I think the majority of the country has done a really good job of uniting; similar to post-9/11.

eh, true. bit too cynical/cliche of a response from me, admittedly.

I've complimented Bush a dozen times on here for his initial response and speeches after 9/11.

While there are people on both sides who are permanent naysayers, you have to admit that there are a sick number of people who just get off on complaining about everything Obama does. As pointed out by others, when you do that, you diminish the effectiveness of criticism on real issues

While I agree with the boldened let's not get whimsical about history. The Bush bashing was so ardent and common it introduced a whole new term to the lexicon; Bush Derangment Syndrome.

Yeah and nobody ever did the same thing about Bush? I would say the number is higher for those that complained (and still do) about him than Obama. Your glasses are tinted just like everyone else.

However, I think it is stupid to complain about Obama and what he has said so far. From the little we know he has done a good job.

My mistake. You're the flagship moderate on the board.

People paint this board with too broad of a brush. Like 10% of the posters on here are partisan dolts.

LOL coming from an Obama supporter who literally goes out of his way on EVERY issue to demonize Republicans and paint them in the worst light possible.

Hilarious that you've never mentioned that on here and talked about diminishing his message.

If we could only get the Politicians in Washington to do this, then maybe they would actually accomplish something. :loco:

Unfortunately, that would require the masses to vote for people who actually want to serve the people instead of the same ole' career politicians who want to enslave the people.
