Empty Neyland Movement (#uncluttervolnation)

I think he is curious like I am. Having a rational discussion is one thing, but attacking every post is another. If someone starts a "Fill Neyland and Support the Players" thread, I know i'm not going to be over there. Seems like you've got some deep rooted psychological issues with an organized support that goes against the status quo.

Havent attacked anyone, just called stupid stupid. I asked several questions to start a discussion, none of which have been answered.

Whatever makes you feel better.

I'm clearly not one of Currie's true fan sheep.
Why would the #movement make me feel better if it strips $ from the AD to the point we spend less than Vandy does for a football coach. Why should that make you feel better, may be the more appropriate question.

Im not either.

When he fires Jones he's moved up to Hart and Hamilton level, both of them fired a coach. When he replaces Jones he will either surpass them or keep us in darkness.

I don't need a pitchfork until that comes to fruition.

My 6 year old has never been to Neyland. I'll gladly take a couple of your tickets if you want. This is for anyone that wants to avoid sitting in Neyland.

so you never go to restaurants again?

or do you just go to different ones?

bad example unless you're out purchasing bama gear right now.

In Atlanta, I have tons of food options.
But, to ur point, any restaurant can have an off night. I usually give two chances.
Analogous to our current coaching performance just this season alone and just on home games, We got bad “food and service” against Umass, UGA, and USC.
that’s three straight trips to Neylands cafe.
As long as they have the same chef (Butch), why go back.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

It don't bother me.

Just don't understand anger towards a silent protest buddy.

Who said i was anger? Nothing here effects my feeling at all. If nothing, ive laughed at the stupidity this morning.

Silent protest? This idiocy is all over social media, silent?

Off to work bud, hope your movement ends up in the same place as the movement i just had.

You are missing the point of people who want to make a statement with their EMPTY seats.
You don’t have to agree with them that the Administration will notice or care about the empty seats.
But, those people who burn their tickets feel that is their only way to show displeasure that Butch is still coach.

And if you think fan attendance behavior doesn't matter to the administration, remember the Great Bammer Takeover of 2008, when Tennessee fans bailed by the tens of thousands and let the Bammers have the tickets.

I've had UTAD admins tell me that red stadium about sealed it for Fulmer.

Tennessee fans, stop with the #EmptyNeyland campaign. Frustration with coaches and administration is fine, but players need support.

Quoting Barrett Sallee?.. :eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol:
Auburn grad who rarely has a nice word to say about UT.

Then they need to be more creative.

Burn ticket = only way

Somebody needs to do some brain storming. There are plenty of other ways to show their displeasure that doesn't impact the money used to hire another coach.

so you're not going to any other restaurants until the chef's firing is announced? not even a quick drive thru a mickey d's? nothing?

i'll tell you this, if Currie fired Butch because of this, i'd have a lot less respect for him....if he fires a coach because of a twitter hissy fit, then he's a coward and too thin skinned for this job.

so think about that. you want an Athletic Director to be bullied by a twitter tantrum in to making a decision that's already been made, just not announced?

i wonder sometimes. be careful what you ask for is all i can say.

but i'd get some ideas rolling for the next movement, because decisions made because of stuff like this, probably just lead to more 'movements'.

Of course there are.
Letters, phone calls, texts, tweets, etc.
But to whom?
Currie?
Big Jim?
DiPietro?
Who is the Real decision maker on why Butch is still here?

I am all for people protesting in any Non Violent, Non Harassing manner that they may choose. America.

This is just idiotic. I cannot believe you guys have me pumping sunshine.

The one thing that should always happen is having the stadium full.

Let me help you:

Gameday signs
Call in shows
Message boards
Social media
Snail mail
Email
Boycott pilot and other businesses

There are countless ways to troll the administration.

Why choose the only one that hurts the relationship with the players?

Use your heads.

The players know their coaches suck and probably won't care about a boycott. Boycott will be the only thing that works.
