The fact that they have purchased tickets doesn't matter. They will still have lost revenue from the game from lost food sales and lost sales from the campus store that sell Jerseys, hats, Tshirts ect . Businesses in Knoxville will notice lost revenue especially on Cumberland Ave. It also shows that the fans are disappointed in the product which will hurt future ticket sales. Im an old guy and i have been around since the Dickey days and this is how it always goes down. 25000 to 30000 empty seats and Jones will be gone on Monday. If they have 95000 butts in the seats sat and Jones will sill be the coach for LSU . THat many people show up for the LSU game and Jones will be your coach next year.
Attendence was not likely going to be high before this embarrasment of a movement started.
