If I were a player I would be offended that you consider them so dumb to think this is about them. These guys live on social media. You don't think they "get" what the noise is about? It is in their best interest to get Butch out of there also. Currie won't do anything. Us taking action only helps them.

Yep, my son and i decided to skip our vols game this year because we were honoroed enough to be given tickets to Navy/Army. If not for that, id attend several with these ticket prices.

I cannot believe that the fan base is both this stupid and disrespectful. What signal do you think you're actually sending with this? That we are so f'ing entitled that we want to basically shut down the program because we can't win? What message are you sending to the players? What Message are you sending to potential recruits, and not just next year as recruits but all future years? What image are we projecting to the rest of the country about our program by trying to empty our Stadium? Are you folks that damn myopic that you can't see what you're doing? Even baby birds Don't s*** in their own nest. This season is gone. Suck it up and know that next year there will more than likely be another coach. If we pull some BS move like this how many of our players do you think we're going to transfer regardless of whether Butch Jones is retained to next year? How many recruits do you think are going to actually come to this team and play if we pull this malarkey? You forgot already how bad the recruiting was in the Dooley era. It gets worse people, much much worse.

For those looking to get drafted in the spring draft of 18' it won't matter if Jones was fired 2 months ago or after Thanksgiving.

i think it makes zero difference and has zero affect this season.

the only way it would make any sense to me is if CBJ was retained. then i think you might have a case to make your voice heard.

but this season? doesn't make a difference at all. and i think there's little to no chance that he's going to be here next season at this point.
