Empty Neyland Movement (#uncluttervolnation)

all i get from this is "i want Butch Jones fired right now".

and that's all that matters to you.

i think he's going to get fired, and am way more concerned with the hiring process.

he's already got mine, and your, money for this game.

so again, stop your donations, give up your tickets. problem solved.

Hurry up and fire Jones!

Hurry up and hire a coach, what are you waiting on! #hurryupmovement

Currie panicked and hired the wrong guy!
#FireCurrie!

Excuse this for bringing up a player's name, but Butch did it, so

according to Butch -- and at least in one period of time -- his thinking is/was, that so long as a person is competitive, and bothered, and is searching for their way, then Butch supports the individuals' decision that it's ok, temporarily, to not join in, right?

Butch Jones explains Jauan Jennings's absence from Tennessee Vols football's sideline

""... is an extremely competitive young man, and it absolutely bothers him being on the sideline because he feels he can't help the football team, and that's his makeup.

That's his decision. I don't want him to be on the sideline and kind of make it worse in terms of it's bothering him right now that he feels he can't help the football team.""

Personally, I'm not in on the movement, but just wanted to point this out.

Butch, to a fault, coddles his stars. It never works out. Peewee, middle school, high school, never. He needs a swift kick in the rear. Theres more to being a teammate than being on a team

This Jennings thing will all come to light after Butch is gone.

Butch lied to the fans once again. Trying to tell the fans and act like Juan Jennings was the first ultra competitive player to ever have a injury. And ultra competitive players can't be on the sideline.
But other players can play with concussions.

Butch thinks the fans are stupid & gullible
Currie thinks the fans are stupid & gullible

Tennessee is in a bad way.

BS! I'm an adult and I don't choose to spend my free time watching garbage. No different than I'm not spending my time and money going to a taping of The View. Would make my stomach turn, just like UT football does. Until Currie says BJ ain't coming back, neither am I!

Good! Vandy needs you!!🤣🤣🤣

and if 40k fans show up to the game, and it's really empty.....then you'll have a point.

this game wasn't getting full attendance to begin with, and was likely going to be the least attended game of the season anyway.

you guys chose the most meaningless game on the schedule to boycott. good work.

It matters not which opponent it is. If we were playing competent football, with competent coaching, and were 7-1, you think this would be a lightly attended game? No way. Would be full. At this point, many fans have had it. Lose to a slop pile UK to go to 0-5, and no action taken by AD. It's their only voice that is in a language the UTAD understands....$ impact.

well it would, if you were as passionate about CBJ, say, the last year and a half?

i don't recall some of you on here over that time period participating in the CBJ debates, where many, self included, were fairly critical of CBJ and wondered aloud if he should be the coach here? some, self included, would have preferred him to be fired after the Vandy game last year.

but timing and circumstance administratively really prevented that from getting off the ground.

and here we are nearly a year later and some faction of fans that have remained basically silent (as far as i can tell--y'll hang out in the RF or something?) the last year or so now think that boycotting the homecoming game is your call to arms to end this age of accepted mediocrity?

where were you last year when we lost the east...and the sugar bowl? why didn't you ask for 20K followers to not renew this year? stop donating this year? not go to the GT game?

hm. makes me wonder about your committment level really.

so far, i've seen one post about another poster in another forum that might not donate or renew, with the caveat that IF they hire the wrong coach.

that's it.

you guys want to skip the homecoming game. congratulations.......:clapping:

Absolutely correct !!!!!! We as fans are partly responsible because year end and year out we keep showing up for a **** show. The powers that be dont respect us anymore. thats why they have sunk hundreds millions of dollars in the stadium and have showed so little interest in being competitive on the field. To publicly come out with this right now proves this . We gave up our season tickets during the dooley phase and i wont be back to the stadium until the product on the field shows consistent improvement . I will watch on TV for FREE. If the game sucks like the GA and BAma game im not out one dime and i can get up and go do something constructive with that time.

Wrong... You paid for Cable/satellite and tuned in which helped boost ratings which supported the rights fees ESPN pays the SEC which is then split among the schools. You're part of the problem, man.

Well some of you anti-movement guys are really starting to grasp at straws today.

Your either the problem or the solution in most cases.

This is turned into your the problem, the solution, or a nagging piece of gum on a shoe trying to get anything to stick to you. Geez

i also find it a tad humorous that he gave up his tickets 5+ years ago, and is now really on board with this boycott idea......

Not to me and you or the players. Its a sport. Dont go if you dont want to but don't create damage that the next coach has to waste time overcoming. The best thing that could happen is showing class.

If only that was true. College Football in the last 15 years became a multi Billion dollar industry.

what does how regularly i post on here have to do with sincerity of my position? i don't give two damns whether you believe my candor or not. every consumer has his breaking point. i've hit mine. if you are still not over this 'product' yet, then by all means keep supporting it. i will not until BJ is sent packing. dude couldn't coach my local pop warner team

is it a position, or a movement? we both agree CBJ needs to be fired. that's a position.

i'm still wondering what you, and yours, are really willing to do about it?

Its comical enjoyment really. Nothing else.

If your movement was focused on Currie hiring UTs next championship caliber coach it would get more play from us that know he's not coming back.
