Doug Mathews says Pruitt has made OC Choice

Actually the new rule allows for an extra non on the field coach to be able to go out on the road and recruit. I hope I am wrong, but no way Satan picks Botch over Enos. Botch might get some “coaching role”, but can’t imagine him being an OC there.
Is Ole Botch paying Satan with his buyout money from UT...do you think? I thought Botch hit his celing at Bama as a window washer and coffee get'er!

I hope ur wrong Hog
I can so other logical reason it hasn’t been announced yet if he has his guy. It’s total BS to think CJP agreed to not announce until after NSD. If he agreed to something like that CJP needs to hit the road.

Doug may very well be right in the end, but I'm seriously starting to distrust anyone in the media that covers the program. I'll wait until there is a press conference with dude on stage in Knoxville before I get burned with more Tennessee coaching search shenanigans.
How exactly did you get burned? Did you make an assuming post based off some info, place an unwise bet? Just curious how someone feels burned by an overactive media trying to one up each other.

It’s really interesting that there are 7 and 8 year old accounts with barely any post history responding in nearly the same way. Volnation bots to the rescue!
Don't usually ask this but seriously, how old are you?
I've met 14 year olds that act the way you post and I'm praying that's the case with you.
God help us if you're an adult.

Lessons learned from this situation:

(1) No one has an inside source.
(2) The people that we name are not the ones that will get hired. We make educated guesses but they aren't close to being right

How do you know this?
Basic deduction. Do you think he’s conducting interviews and simply can’t find anyone he likes? No. Every coach has a short list of replacements at the ready. But Pruitt seems wedded to the idea that a quality OC will come here and not be allowed to bring his own staff. We’ve tried this before. It doesn’t end well.

Why do so many posters seem to have these amazing insights into Pruitt's mind?

Who is WE !!
The part of the fanbase that is tired of being taken advantage of with ridiculous ticket prices for a mediocre product and bumbling fools for leaders. That’s who. Maybe you missed the last few games where the stadium was lucky to have 80k fans. It’ll get a lot worse if we hire some nobody because Pruitt won’t let a new OC hire his own staff.

If they are still coaching I think it would have to be a NFL guy. Bowl games don't matter that much. Several coaches have announced new jobs before the BCS

Years ago, TN lost Cut before the national championship game. AL and Kiffin separated before the championship game. We hired Pruitt before the playoff games (he chose to keep coaching for AL). If it is a college guy, it wouldn’t make sense to wait to announce.

GO VOLS...RECRUIT LIKE HECK!
