I think we had a great day two of the draft. Hard to deny that our offense is better than it was on Thursday afternoon. I don't know what they saw in Hall that says he's better than Derek Rivers, but I'm glad they grabbed a solid DE there.
No 4th rounder today. I'd be fine if they traded the 5th, 6th and 7th rounders to move up a little and grab someone that could really have a chance at making the team.
I'm guessing that a personality rift became to much between he and Jerry Richardson. DG is straight business and JR likens his players to family, which can be a hard balance for a GM who's primary task is winning ballgames.
Especially since Steve Smith and D'Angelo Williams both threw Gettleman under the bus today
Most people, if being honest, would say Gettleman made the right call in both of those cases. His only move I disagreed with was cutting Josh Norman. That move doomed last year's team, set a bad tone in the locker room, and probably was the beginning of the end for Gettleman.
First string D looked good, for what little time they played. Byrd had a nice game at WR. I really hope we've seen the last of Bersin. Butker nailed a 51-yd FG. Split it right down the middle with plenty of distance. Gano should be officially on notice.
