Automobilia etc....

Next car I'm buying is a Mini Countryman for my wife. She loves those cars. Probably going to get it this Fall.

One of my neighbors has that one and it's really nic
I think you will be pleased
I'd recommend getting the Bluetooth and stereo upgrade

Never realized how much I use the Bluetooth for the phone and this one doesn't have it

Anyone driven a Dodge Charger Police Interceptor before? I'm in the process of finally upgrading from my '95 Blazer and found a 2010 model with 56k miles on it still with brush guard, spotlight, and divider still on it. Not to mention I love the motor that's in it as well.

thanks, Kat
Nerd and Yank Jealous, because its faster than a mustang and a miata..lulz

I was hoping you would get the irony. I'd totally rock a non convertible version. I'm just not a fan of 4 seater convertibles.

The author got a little crazy at the end:

He mentions the FRS/BRZ twins and the Fiesta ST, but doesn't mention the GTI or Civic Si.

I've driven a recent GTI and outgoing Miata and he's 100% on those two. I would imagine the Civic Si would fail to. FWD kills both of them from a pure driving enjoyment stance.

Yeah, Honda has kinda let the Si wither on the vine. Really seems to have been passed up by a ton of cars. It's not bad by any stretch, just...stale?

RWD is better, for sure, but "pure driving enjoyment" is subjective, at best.

Enjoyment/pleasure is on its face subjective.

In this world of subjectivity though, I think most people will find the miata to be the most fun.

I've had the chance to spend good seat time in many sports/performance cars, of varying layouts and types. Nothing compares to the enjoyment of my miata for me.

Are other cars faster? Yes. Are there cooler cars? Yes. Does it matter? Nope.

My first and only Miata was identical to the BRG SE version in that article. Wish I still had it but that was many cars ago.

It's funny. The reason I can't get the new miata is because I would have to get rid of it at some point. I could afford it, but it would have to be my only car. So the moment I start a family it would have to go.

My current miata is a nice affordable toy which happens to be practical. Barring some extreme hardship, there is no reason for me to get rid of it, unless I want to repalce it with something else. I want to hold on to it for a long time and be able to pass it down.
